well you're not a blonde, so it's plugged in i assume, lol
if it's plugged into a surge protector, check the light and flip the switch a couple times, might work, if not, when you are sure you have power to your computer, hold in the power button for a few seconds then release. if that doesn't work, unplug the computer for about 10 minutes, plug it back in and it may work then. no other advice, not that much of a computer geek, but sure someone will be able to advise you further. |

by all means if you have norton, dump it. it slows your computer to the max because it checks everything you click on or do and you pay for it. foxysr, those free downloads are free, but you have to wade thru the first few sites to find them because some will want you to pay for it once you get started downloading them. |
