It's just another day for me. Sorry to say.. I feel the same as Lex. All I ever see is a bunch of greedy spending people at the malls and such... and I can only imagine the furthest thing from their mind is what Christmas really is about. 
 The most important thing on thier minds at this time of year, is to try and get the best DEALS in the stores, and try and out do the Jone's.

Sabbatical????

For those of you who know me, I am going to stay on Mingle and answer messages but I think I should take a sabbatical as far as getting involved with anyone because I am a paper boat in the ocean being tossed about because I don't know what I want. Thus far, I have decided LOCAL and NOT LIVING with me as I do not share space well. Beyond that I don't know. Any thoughts? |

I have not been out sleeping with people but I now understand the Charlie Sheen quote of "I don't pay them to sleep with me. I pay them to go away". Getting people interested is far easier than getting rid of them. Anyone else notice this??? Ya. This is why you think REAL hard before letting anyone in. It is about timing. If you are not in the exact same space at the exact same time, one will be more involved than the other. Recipe for angst. It's really good to be completely up front and honest about what's going on. If you're not in the same place at the same time as someone else, let them know! So many people don't do that. They just act like nothing is going on, or they ignore the situation, rather than being honest and dealing with it. Sometimes, it seems as though people think they can hint around at something, rather than just being honest. If you're not interested in someone, or trying to "get rid" of someone, flat out tell them you're not interested anymore, rather than assuming they'll figure it out. Obviously that won't always work, but it's the best way to start. |

(I took my pet Fluffy to the beach. Cleared it of all people in about 10 seconds! Had the beach to myself all day with Fluffy around.) And this is what most of the lines people feed us when they are scammers...
