Drive 3 hours to meet a guy or go have a few drinks at the local bar and come home and get in the hot tub?(The house is empty for the night)? I head the third time is a charm, but I'm not having the best of luck in my encounters with men lately.

Yes, we as a race of people have became more modern,,as OTHERS say, to new ideas and reasoning. SO,,,ALOT, want to run when they find a problem. Instead of WORKING on a fix for the problem.. 
The song, "Whats-Forever for"? Fits alot who want to quit, and the realilty of trying to make it work.... My two cents anyway...
Not everything can be fixed. People don't change just because you want them to. So what do you do? Spend the rest of your life in total misery in a loveless marriage? That's what people used to do. Why is that considered a better alternative? I think it is wonderful that we have more freedom now and we don't have to stay locked in hell until we die. AMEN! 
What if the person you loved was hurting your child? I missed the part where you answered her question. Yea...What if someone hurt your kid...what then bud? |

33 years so far 
Holy hell! Well, I hope to find someone withing the next 5 years at the most. What I'm saying is, I'm 33 yrs old and I've only dated frogs.. they were each one in their own way. Most were incapable of compromise as far as relationships go, a few were abusive, a couple were just plain pigs. I'm waiting for the attractive gentleman I always knew was there for me, somewhere... I know in my heart God will lead me to him when the time is right. I just hope that's soon!! To be attractive plus to be a sweethearted man would be a wonderful thing!I'm willing to be open-minded on the looks department, but I guess God just thinks the timing isn't right or something. |

I think I married way to young. I was only 16 and I didn't realize that I made a bad choice. Divorce was not acceptable back in the day so some people stayed in the're miserable situations to save face. I wish I could've only been married one time. I want to be in love FOREVER, but it just didn't happen that way. I tried for 8 years to make it work, but bad stuff just kept happening to me and then,to my child so....that was it for me.
