I think the same way. I guess we'll be the shallow guys around here. The reason why I want a girl with the looks is because I can go and say "Hey look at this beautiful girl" I can show her off and have her on my arm. I think its in every guys nature to want a beautiful girl to show off and brag about having. i wouldn't even use the word "beautiful" neccisarily, i mean your on the same page i'm on clearly, but i don't even think of a girl as a bragging thing.... i mean, i want to be with someone, who i desire day after day, no matter how long i been with them. |

I believe that tho be it is not an important part of a relationship, i feel that there must be some level of physical attration in a relationship... I believe that for several reasons, it keeps me saying "god, i can't believe she's with me" kinda a way to say how fortunate i am.... also it keeps sexual desire high, which (mind you i'm 23 yrs old) doesn't everyone enjoy a good lay? And i'm the faithful type, so i'm not going to head out and look for some prostitute... And i think that if i was in a relationship, where i did not desire that intimate interaction, i would feel unfullfilled.
I guess i'm lookign to find out, would people call me shallow? if i know what i'm looking for, am i shallow for avoiding what i don't want? I get mutual match possibilities, and i deny them because i know from a glance, i'd probly never be happy, i'll allways feel like i coulda done better... or maybe because they allready have a child, and not that i don't want children, but i want my own children, i don't want to raise someone elses... and i SURE AS HELL don't wanna be somebody's sugar daddy. I dunno, i'm just kinda lookin for input. |

well and i know that she was crazy about me,... but i couldn't handle her... her habbits, her tendencies, her behavior... it simply was not going to work in the long run... can nobody an say i didn't give her a chance... i gave her 5 months of a chance... i almost cut it off after 3, and she begged for another chance, so i did... thinking i reacted hastly... but nothing changed.....

I might be one and not know it :p OOH OOH let me awnser this one... in one of my past experiences... i think the girl who i got into a big fight with, and told her not to bother calling me, then showed up at my work standing in front of my car so i couldn't pull out of my parking spot.... that made HER a good example of a psycho! |

Yea.... I did a long distance relationship.. the guy turned out to be a huge loser.... slept with my sister a few days after we split up. I know a great guy is out there. We will find each other one day... You guys just should enjoy life.. much better that way lol totally, dragonl0ve makes a good point, and i personally know first hand how hard it can be to change the mind set to thnk that way... the trick is to find a passion. A very good very smart friend of mine, once told me, if you find a passion, you will fill more fullfilled. He was right. Obviously i want to meet someone, kinda why i joined the site, but i've concentrated my energy and effort into somethign i CAN control, and put my passion into that, and i've been MUCH happier ever since... a relationship will come when it comes, it never comes when you want it most! |

I feel your pain girl. Today I was chatting with a customer at work.. great looking, sweet.. etc etc... he is married Grrrr I guess its true what they say, "all the good guys are either married or gay" just would like to say, we good guys are out here.... the problem i'm finding is, the good girls seem to live west coast, and the good guys seem to live east coast... anyone else noticing that or is it just my imagineation? maybe not literally, but what i mean to say is it's easy to find someone good... but finding someone good withing reasonable distance of you, can be hard. |
