As a 20 y/o guy with them, I would have to say he wants to impress you. I think most guys assume girls know what a "1500 watt" system is and how impressive it is(or not).

Honestly I don't mention what car I drive or what I have in it unless it's directly asked or required to disclose. For one thing people should like me for me, and for another I don't like people knowing how much or little money I have.

i like subwoofers. funny you should ask. let me tell you a little bit about mine.... They are 12" Auras. a nice white and black color, with big, strong magnets on the back. They have a pretty good frequency response and don't distort very easily. i built a custom box out of mdf for it with oak reinforcing rods inside. They Are Awesome! Do you like bass? I know i sure do! I sealed them with a silicone caulking and sealed them furthermore with a clear urethane sealer. I am thinking about upgrading them to another brand though. What? I can barely hear you. I think I need to get another amp to power them too..... one with an adjustable built in bass boost below 40 hz.. yeah that would be nice.... or maybe i should get a separate crossover... no.. i should invest in a better capacitor first.... hey, wait, where are you going?

Subwoofers are for the bass, make you feel the drumrolls and such. I make a girl FEEEL GGOOODDD, I suppose.

I'm getting a sub LAT system, but I won't talk about it unless it's brought up first, I don't think ladies are really interested in that kind of stuff generally.

Yea thier try to impress you about haveing something that is going to rattle his car appart and irratate everyone else around them,like everyone wants to here that thump and fell thier own car rattle.
