I guess it depends on what kinda girl you want. I get that you want to be clear about what your expectations are, but there is a good way to say it and a bad. Your way is pretty insulting and negative and would drive away any girl worth dating and then some. Don't say something like "a girl who can take care of herself" instead say someone who is confident, because that implies she can take care of herself.

Also don't say you are looking for a girlfriend because you are bored. What are we a diversion for your boredom?

I think the amount of effort you put into your profile will reflect the choices you get. So I'll let you figure out rest on your own.

I had a cousin who broke out in hives because of the cold weather. Good thing she lives in Sri Lanka and only came for a visit in autumn. Maybe its the weather?

Well if you are offering, why not. Any special requests e.g. hanging, decapitation, knife in the back, run over, shot...

some common sense:


a. stay away from anyone from a third world country, unless you have the money to go visit them

b. ignore people who ask you to communicate with them outside this site, right from the beginning, that's suspicious.

c. use a seperate e-mail just for this site

d. never give out personal info, before meeting the person, your username is enough to get to know people.

e. remember, most often if something is too good to be true it probably is.


but don't get discouraged, as long as you use your common sense, you should be fine :)

Only if I'm gonna marry the guy. With dating and relationships, I just stick to my instincts, and dump him the moment I feel something suspicious is going on. My instincts are pretty good.
