I think I have a problem with red flags and men. I run as soon as I see the slightest issue that could be dangerous for me or my child. I guess meeting someone isn't the issue. As you well know about me, it's finding the right one. Considering what you went through already in life one can only understand why you put up 'red flags' and rightfully so. I do think you will find someone though.

It completely depends on the situation at hand. If I feel threatened or see a red flag, I bolt and don't turn back. If it is someone that I know I should fight for, I never ever give up. I will fight until I have nothing left to give.

Now come on that was funny, did everyone miss the link between missionary and ? Do you want me to hurt myself with that Kama Sutra stuff? Actually, folklore is one of my hobbies and the old-fashioned way is usually the best, unless it comes to drudge work. For example, I would rather go to the store and buy some butter than have to churn it out. I completely understood what you meant...and your response was in my head when I read this post as well, hehe. Great minds think alike! As for old fashioned...I think society has lost a lot and wish that many things would go back to the old ways. |

apparently I don't know the rules If I'm at a bar and I ask a guy that looks bored as hell I might him to do a shot with us (my group I'm with) and apparently in "guy code" that must mean I want to sleep with him.  Or if I send someone an email complimenting them on something... then apparently I'm hitting on them.
One time I asked a guy in a bar to come join our group since he was standing alone the entire night ( I was there while my friends were playing in the band at the bar) and he looked me up and down and said "sorry, I'm just not looking for anything right now"  I mean seriously... I thought I said "hey come have a drink at the bar with us" apparently that translates to "when are we getting married?" in guy code
Some guys (in person or here) think that women talking to them means the woman is interested. Often, it's just the woman being friendly. I can totally see why women here don't reply to everyone who writes to them because some take a response to mean interest. Thank you for pointing that out. I never respond to those that do nothing but compliment on appearance. If it is something worth my time about something I have written, I usually respond. |

Its only normal to have thoughts and admire beauty. To think that you are the only good looking or attractive person on earth is silly. Why not be open and honest. As long as the person does not act on those thoughts it is fine in my book. Every one of us has fantasies. In my opinion I'd rather know what they are and try to fulfill them for my partner. I'd go to the extent of wearing a wig and outfit if I loved someone. Let them have their dreams all in you. Thanks for sharing that wisdom with us

Sometimes people don't reply because they would rather be appreciated for their mind and not their appearance. I hate messages that only contain a one sentence of your hot, or pretty, or nice wrack. Get me? If I am going to be interested, it has to be for a deeper reason.
