I always ask bagger to please fill up those bags because I'm getting older and I have stairs to climb. I'd rather have weight than trips up the stairs. Then I always say thank you to checkout person and bagger. Grocery shopping is my least favorite thing to do but I'm never rude about it.

There are more and more people in the world the older we get. We are running over top of each other and it will only get worse. Perhaps this causes people to retreat into their own heads. I find women to be rude in the grocery stores, hogging the aisles and not even thinking to move out of the way or even being courteous enough to notice. And then I find I'm the one holding the door open for men at gas stations slash convenience stores half the time. Seems to be the normal after evolving over the years. So slowly you don't really notice it happening until someone questions it. Other than that I have no real issues. But don't get me started on drivers...

Interestingly enough, I happened onto a YouTube video earlier today in which the commentator stated that when viewing online dating pictures, keep in mind that in reality the person is probably actually about 50 percent less attractive than their posted pictures.

I have my mail filters set yet I still get mail from men way younger than I have it set for. Idk what else I can do to only get mail from my parameters and matches in my parameters. All I get are men between 30 and 55 when all I want are men in their 60s and within 100 miles to be able to contact me.

I will chit chat with guys in the grocery store or smile and say hi but would not consider discussing a date.

Wow! I've not had that happen, yet. That's so rude. Must be bigoted in some way. So far I'm just wondering why they lie about something as simple as their age and if that's a big deal?

I'm not saying you don't have one but be sure to start out with an honest profile. If someone lies right off the bat, I'm done talking to that person. Have good pictures; smile. And, it takes time. Good luck to you.
