) JERUSALEM - Israel has admitted that in the 1990s, its forensic pathologists harvested organs from dead bodies, including Palestinians, without permission of their families. The issue emerged with publication of an interview with the then-head of Israel's Abu Kabir forensic institute, Dr. Jehuda Hiss. The interview was conducted in 2000 by an American academic, who released it because of a huge controversy last summer over an allegation by a Swedish newspaper that Israel was killing Palestinians in order to harvest their organs. Israel hotly denied the charge. Who would admit to it anyhow? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/12/21/israel-admits-harvesting_n_399623.html That's ghoulish. I have been hearing this rumor about Israel for several years now. I have also heard that the Israelis are organ harvesting in Iraq as well. |

Isn't it interesting how shallow some people can be? People get rejected because someone doesn't like their hairstyle, but when they color it or get a new haircut, suddenly they are attractive, it's the same person. They don't like the shirt you're wearing, yet tomorrow you wear a different one, and you become more desirable. You don't have a mustache if you're a guy, but you grow one in 2 weeks and suddenly you see a change in how people talk to you. Or you don't wear shades, but you go buy some Oakleys or Maui Jims and you're Mr. or Miss Cool. It's the same person, only the wrapper has changed. Shouldn't we look a little deeper than someone's physical appearance? |

One day a a woman and her husband had a new baby boy, only the baby was born just as a head, no other body parts, despite the condition the father cared for the baby alot and they bonded. As the kid grew older he wasn't able to do much because he was still just a head, no other body parts, the father couldn't do much with his kid, couldn't teach him how to play sports or how to drive a car when he turned 16. Finally when the kid turned 21, his father took him to the bar to have a drink, his father gave him a bottle of beer, once he was finished out popped 2 arms, the father said here have another beer, once he finished that one a torso popped out, the father looked at his son in shock, here have a shot of vodka he says, the kid took the shot of vodka and out popped 2 legs, the dad looks at his son in shock again, wow he says in disbelief. By this time the kid was feeling pretty drunk and got up and began to walk, he walked out of the bar only to stumble into the street and was hit by a bus which killed him. The father ran out only to find his son dead in the street, he went back in the bar and began crying, he looks at the bartender and says my son just got killed, the bartender looks back at him and says he should have quit while he was ahead. |

Into this cold, better truth we cannot see. Lies your soul, wondering wild and free. Lost in the world of madness, in its sleep. This place of stolen hearts all weep. To hear and to know, living is not all blow. Yearning yet to lie, allowing it to grow. This place without face, and with no real pace. Hidden, forbidden, unforgiven....THIS, is not your heaven. |

I was sitting in my basement I just rolled myself a taste Of something green and gold and glorious to get me through the day Then my friend yelled through the transom "Grab your coat and get your hat son There's a nut down on the corner, givin' dollar bills away" But I laid around a bit Then I had another hit Then I rolled myself a bomba Then I thought about my mama Then I fooled around, played around Jacked around a while and then I got stoned and I missed it I got stoned and I missed it I got stoned and it rolled right by I got stoned and I missed it I got stoned and I missed it I got stoned oh me oh my Now it took seven months of urging just to get that local virgin With the sweet face up to my place to fool around a bit Next day she woke up rosy and she snuggled up so cosy When she asked me how I liked it Lord it hurt me to admit I was stoned and I missed it I was stoned and I missed it I was stoned and it rolled right by I was stoned and I missed it I was stoned and I missed it I was stoned oh me oh my Now I ain't makin' no excuses for the many things I uses Just to sweeten my relationships and brighten up my day But when my earthly race is over and I'm ready for the clover And they ask me how my life has been I guess I'll have to say I was stoned and I missed it I was stoned and I missed it I was stoned and it rolled right by I was stoned and I missed it I was stoned and I missed it I was stoned oh me oh my |

Findings It is all finding its way back. A blessing, it has not all been shattered. I would have taken more care. Why didn't they take more pains, after all , this was, is, someone's life we're speaking of. Drip. Drip. Drip. Leaky and in need of repair. I thought I taught them better, she said, looking into her mirror. At least I have that. What are you doing for the holidays, she queried, knowing the excuse, puffed in her pride of understanding people. It's all coming back, memories of when. Packed for so long. Then, was then. My, how quickly the changes are. You can never go back. This distance, called far. Raine Les 12/21/2009 |

What would you choose?

A career won't act like an arrogant a$$hole, so I'd choose the career. you sound bitter.... By the way, I have no reason to be bitter; the last time I allowed myself to get personally involved with a man was over a year ago, and he isn't worth holding a grudge over, a year later. My point was, it is impossible for a career to be arrogant, or an a$$hole, unlike a man, who can obviously be either or both. Therefore, the career is my choice. |

Indian Fry Bread

3 cups flour 1 tablespoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup warm water Combine dry ingredients in a bowl. Add warm water in small amounts and knead dough until soft but not sticky. Adjust flour or water as needed. Cover bowl and let stand about 15 minutes. Pull off large egg-sized balls of dough and roll out into fairly thin rounds. Fry rounds in hot oil until bubbles appear on the dough, turn over and fry on the other side until golden. Serve hot. Try brushing on honey, or making into an Indian Taco. yummy |
