You've obviously been hurt pretty bad by someone. What I can tell you is that there are people out there who are just mean. However, not everybody is that way. If you were unfortunate enough to meet that person, be thankful you are no longer with that person. Dust yourself off, and move on. Keeping this baggage will not help you in future relationships.
