You can't help them it sounds cruel but really you can't. They have to want to stop drinking. It has to be their problem and their road to recovery. Set up your boundaries with that in mind...and stick to them no matter how hard it is.

I turn down the guys who are about the same age as my children. It just gives me a creepy feeling. My youngest is 25 I've had 21 year olds e-mailing me I ask them why they would want to talk to an old lady when they could find a cute young girl. They just prefer older women is the usual reply and girls their own age are silly.

I have to disagree.
Sometimes they are a little shy. You just have to coax them a little. I had this experience recently and he turned out to be funny and even responded with some sexy banter.
