My life is really hard right now.

But I think of it this way...

I have nowheres to go but up!

I'm sorry to hear that Roberta. My life too is very hard right now. I'm glad you are looking towards the light at the end of the tunnel. I hope to see my light soon.

All of the losses that I have suffered and those I've helped my children through have surely taught me that we are not prescribed a definitive life span. I try my best to cherish each day, live my best life and be as happy as I can be every single moment. I also believe in karma so I always try to do what's right.

Love and prayers sent to you artcat, I can't even imagine losing a child.. Makes me tear up just to think obout it.. I lost both my husband then my mom in 2007.. That was a very hard time for me.. I have received love and support from family and friend and I am doing very well, moving on with my life.. But you never forget them..flowerforyou

I'm glad you are doing well since your losses. I too had healed from all of mine though it's very true that we never forget.

Within a yr of my husbands passing, 5 of his friend passed also.. They would all go to McD's every evening for coffee and talk.. His best friend passed just 6 wks after ****.. We wives say they are all doing the same thing in heaven, looking down and helping up on our way...

I'm sure they are all watching over you ladies! flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou

If he smokes on the dance floor, if his looks are smoldering, if he smokes when he's dressed to the nines, if he is smokin' in bed then yeah, I want to date him! laugh

If he smokes cigarettes, no way, not kissing any ashtrays!

some are content to live life catering to the other, but what's the point in that? it should be best friends, fifty fifty, no "i'm the man, you're the woman" crap. that's a trump card played by the sexes to get what they desire, and it limits the friendship to only grow to certain limits before it's doomed. they say that relationships were stronger back aways, but in truth, they were regulated by one or more parties,(usually the man) and women were afraid to branch out on their own, and for good reason, but i don't need to get into that, for you understand it more than most could fathom, and your strength and wit is what men fear, for they can't get around their own barriers, no matter how intelligent they may be......their insecurities trump themselves into the greatest adventure that they could ever wish for, but the two edge sword is mighty yet.... i council many on here, and some will just never let it go, or let their guard down and show their true strength, and vulnerability, for they are one in the same, where the heart is concerned, reguardless of gender.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, Dark. There is only one point on which we differ, I think it's 100, 100 not fifty, fifty!

I like the smile and eyes first, to keep the attraction going I need to connect with a man who is intelligent, kind and compassionate, passionate, honest, loyal and has a sense of humor.
When I find him^^ why on Earth would I want to change him?

I am in complete awe and gratitude of such a wonderful outpouring of love, prayers and condolences. I couldn't possibly thank you enough.

Dan, I love that picture too. Anytime I close my eyes and think of you Lisa I can just feel that hug!

I've copied many of the poems and prayers in case my daughter-in-law would like to use any of them.

Blessings back on all of you.

I would like to announce the birth of my new kidney stone. Born last night and weighing in at 22 pounds, the size of a microwave oven. I was in labor for about 16 hours until the little bundle of joy "popped" out around 2:30 this morning. Not confirmed yet but there is a possibility of twins. If this is true I should give birth sometime later this morning. slaphead tears

Damn... think of the preg. weight that will be falling off of you soon!laugh

Now that it's all over(hopefully) you're ready to ring in the New Year with cigars and champagne..........as long as you're not breastfeeding! laugh

Moondark, I'm sorry to hear you've been injured in that accident. It really sounds like you should seek medical attention for your knee.....it shouldn't look like you have two kneecaps on one knee! flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou

As for the insurance companies and suing well, my sister was hit from behind and she's been trying to work with the insurance company and when they told her her medical bills would be covered at 80% and she'd be responsible for the rest she complained that she didn't ask to be hit from behind and they told her her best recourse was to sue!

That breathing thing is really odd in someone as skinny as you.

It sounds like sleep apnea, something you might want to look into.

I have tinnitus so the only way for me to fall asleep is with the TV on a sleep timer.
I sleep in a king size bed on the right side.
