Topic: How do you sleep? | |
---|---|
What are your sleep habits like? Do you sleep on a certain side of the bed? Do you need noise or complete silence? Some light or complete darkness?
I sleep on the left side of my bed. It's a queen size, and I've tried forcing myself to sleep in the middle, but I always end up on the left side. I used to sleep in complete silence, but when my daughter was born, someone told me to add "white noise" to help her sleep better so now I can't sleep unless there is a humming noise (I use a fan). And I have to be in complete darkness. Any light, and it keeps me awake. |

Hah, wait for peri-menapause!!! I wake up at least once a night now.
I moved to an apartment I love, but there is a lot of traffic noise, so I had used one of those noise machines to help drown out the roars of motorcycles and big trucks. But, I've now gotten into another of my mother's habits. Falling asleep to the tv!!!! OMG, I am becoming my mother!!!! I still only sleep on one side of my bed, too, on my right side, with 3 cats who kind of maneuver me around!!! Sometimes they get me twisted like a pretzel!!! |

I lay on my left side and say my prayer... then get on my right side facing the empty bed, flip my pillow and doze off... Got me a routine as you see. Ha ha

Horribly...
I get up 2-4 times a night..half the time I have nightmares...2 outta 3 of my pillows end up on floor or wedged between the wall and bed.....my blankets &sheet are usually twisted all together and sometimes their on the floor. I usually have one blanket left on me and I'm usually tangled in that one. Then my cat decides to come and cuddle on top of me most mornings and purrs as loud as a lawn mower. |

I have a big ol' comfy king size waterbed, so I have plenty of room! I sleep on both sides- I have to sleep on my sides- cant sleep on my back!
I need total darkness & I have to have my stereo on a low volume! |

I sleep on my tummy on the right side of my bed. Light sleeper because of the kids and I don't snore atleast I've never heard myself. LOL

queen bed, on my side, pillow over my head, white noise, complete darkness.
On days that I work, I usually drift right off but days that I've not worked and spent indoors are much tougher falling asleep. |

I need total darkness & I have to have my stereo on a low volume! That's the two things that I could not sleep with/on. Can't sleep on a waterbed, too much movement going on (I think I've gotten too used to sleeping by myself) and I can't stand to have a radio on. Reminds me too much of my alarm clock, lol. |

Butt naked....spread eagle...total silence...pitch darkness...I have been told that I talk alot in my sleep (wich is odd cause in my dreams, I never speak)....and apparently I often stop breathing...then bolt upright when I do breathe again. (not sure about that...just what I have been told)

Uhhh Honey....I prefer the term "Sleek" or "Aerodynamic"....hehehehehehe Pretty sure it has something to do with my dreams...they are either really screwed up recollections of actual events...or the really peaceful ones where I lucidly float... |
