Welcome to Unemployment: College Grads Face Tough Job Market

www.youtube.com/watch?v=geHsK3M7IEw

1) Many college grads that were unfortunate enough to have graduated in 2012 got a hardy welcome to unemployments-ville

2) On average people that graduated in 2012 spent longer looking for their first job and once and if they got it they'd be getting paid less money than their predecessors.

3) It has changed for the worse even in just the past few years.

For those who graduated in 2006 to 2008, 14% have no first full time job.

4) For those who graduated in 2009 - 2011 their unemployment rate is at 45%.

5) Everyone from 2008 - 2012 are still trying to get the jobs that are available.

6) Those that do get work will get paid less than the average income made in 2000.

7) Starting at a lower base pay the younger graduates will never catch up to their older counterparts.

8) More students, about 2/3, graduate with more student debt at around $25,000.

9) How can graduates live and pay off their education's debt with low paying jobs?

10) Everybody's being told to go to college but the jobs and pay aren't there when the rules for getting ahead are followed.

11) This is a shake down and regulations are needed to stop it.

I would like to point out specifically this one.

5) Everyone from 2008 - 2012 are still trying to get the jobs that are available.

What a bunch of BS. I graduate in 08. I got my job by doing something David mentioned earlier... moving. I lived and went to school in Louisiana and took my first job in upstate NY. I got laid off a little over a year later when the new Administration cut defense spending. I had another job offer on the table but turned it down to spend some time in Asia teaching English. I came back in summer of 2011 but didn't get a job until March 2012. (hard to compete with new grads when you only have 1 year legit experience and took over a year off from your career) Anyway that job paid 40% more than the one I had in NY. This one happened to be in CO. I ended up getting married and there were no jobs for my wife in CO so now we are in Texas. We are closer to family, wife has a good job, I got a pay raise at my new job and its super laid back and awesome. Oh also I forgot to mention I left the first job in CO and got a different one (pay raise). First one was boring and I didn't really do anything so I left; CEO was sad about it because he really liked me.

Hey Chaz! Welcome back!

You are right, to hell with the facts. Your limited view is the basis of reality. I wasn't talking about where you live. I was talking about America in general. 140+ of Americas 150 biggest cities young motherless women out earn their male peers. It is a fact. You can choose to ignore if, but it is no less real. The job I had before this one women out numbered men 2 to 1. All STEM majors. Computer Science, Physics, etc. Lots of opportunities for women in today's world.

What about European American month?

that's everyday,,,,thats basically what all of formal education is concerning history 'European american' history

electives and special 'months' were added to give some attention to those other than European americans,,,

Typical BS. No there is no national holiday for it. Most history is taught about the Settlement of America. How much general education teaches about Scottish, Irish, Polish, Russian, etc history from their time in Europe? Not really that much. It is a shame that minorities claim that everything not specifically stated as for a minority group is specifically for "white/European" people.

Might be fair to mention that it may not be Skype but her camera that is the issue. How old is the camera? Maybe you need new drivers.

Sorry no one helped you. That is an old card. More info is needed. What size power supply do you have? What kind of computer case do you have? what settings do you want to run? What kind of power connectors do you have available on your power supply? Also what do you consider breaking the bank? You can get a GTX 660 for $200 and that will destroy your old card.

2 biggest stoppers are your power supply and your case.

My wife and I lift 2-3 times a week depending on our schedule. We do compound lifts like bench, squat, row, overhead, etc.

The GOP's Latest Anti-Obamacare Talking Point Just Went Down in Flames

finance.yahoo.com/news/gops-latest-anti-obamacare-talking-213658327.html

The only thing politicians and insurance providers are worried about is how much money they can rake up into their already bulging coffers by forcing all Americans to take coverage with some level of health insurance so that when we do need to go to the doctors they too can pad their pockets by providing substandard services at exorbitant costs to consumers.

And there will be very little we can do to protect ourselves from this budding scam that big money has been implementing slowly over time by worming its way into our psyches and making us believe its in our best interest to toe their line.

Soon enough though average folks will realize just how much we're being taken advantage of and will stand up and shout, "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!"

And I can't wait to see who digs us out from under the melee.

Democrats? Republicans? Tea Partiers? Independents?

A new world order? smokin

You don't get it. It's not about anyone "bailing us out", it's about our demise as a world power, by a president bent on the destruction of the western evil and its infidel people.

The state this America hating POTUS has put our country in in just 5 years of his lawless rule, even a Repulsicon senate and house (if they were an honest lot) couldn't repair without first allowing it to occur.... but the transformation would be to what.... and at what cost?

He has destroyed the very core of what our country stands for, divided our peoples, corporatized our existence to one of perpetual debt, and reversed the very nature of a govt serving its people to one of govt control

Look around you! Do you see the America even your young age remembers out there somewhere?

NO Soul, the America I thought I was growing up in while being brainwashed to trust that if I was honest, worked hard and paid my dues that I would make it okay was a load of hogwash!

Because after I reached maturity I quickly learned that I wasn't going to be allowed to take care of myself, stand on my own two feet. Because it's a man's world.

But rather my place as a woman in the south, where the poorer and uneducated among us are basically just supposed to do what we're told and shut our mouths if we want to survive without feeling the sting of the lash.

The same lash that not too long ago was reserved for the backs of the slaves who got out of control. The slaves who needed to be punished and made an example of if they dared to speak of freedom and independence from their misery.

Not thrive, Soul, we simply survive.

I've never asked anyone for much of anything that I couldn't get for myself via hard work and sacrifice. And I think it sucks that its the wealthy crooks that are bleeding us dry who are the first ones to grab tax payer backing to cover their a$$es when they get caught with their hands in our hard earned cookie jars. Then cunningly point the finger at us, their victims, to make everybody believe their thievery tactics are our faults.

I personally don't see Obama as the only villain in our country's demise. But the big money backers that put him in office to appease the poorer among us after the Bush administration lied and screwed everybody over for years while soaking in and partying through the wealth they finagled out of the rest of us.

And its the same backers who kept him there for a second term because they couldn't afford to let our country's first white/black President go down in disgrace until they figure out how to at least make this f**king they're giving us look good, even when it hurts.

I don't think my eyes are the only ones that need opening.

And now, big money has finally initiated another way they can keep their behind the scenes games in play with even more of our hard earned money, or through our taxes, via alleged health insurance plans that really won't help anyone other than those they are designed to truly profit.

You wait and see... I've been in the trenches of this system for 30 years... and...

Let's not do the "man's world" thing. Studies show women are more educated and in my generation and younger women are out earning their male peers.

I would never say megapixels wouldn't matter. Blowing up a photo and digitally enhancing it are two different things. I am sure most professional photographers want their pictures to be pure and the more pixels you have the more enlargement you have without loss of resolution on a pure non enhanced picture. In fact some people dont even use digital. They prefer to develop their own film in dark rooms.

look if he wants to send pics of his thing and the receiver wants to see it what is the problem?

hmm,, in a country where 'gay rights' is a given on the grounds of people being 'consenting adults',,,,,,

I dont really see that the action itself could , in perspective, be controversial

what is controversial is that he is married ,,,if he were single,, I dont know if such a scandal would be possible as a reault

but this is politics, alot of those same politicians with mistresses and God knows what else might try to politically crucify him even if he were single,,,,

But still, how is his personal life my business or yours? If he is doing his job as a politician well then who cares?

Anyone ever use this language software? what did u think?

It works really well. AS with all things just study hard and good luck.

Thanks I just got it today in the mail.. Looks pretty good. Learning Hebrew.. Have not figured out though how to put the audio cd to put on my phone on my computer. to transfer it to my phone.. Do you know how to do this?

Personally I think it was crap, but that was for Asian languages. Lets put this in English terms. I teach you ball and boy. I then say The boy is under the ball. and show a picture. I however dont explain the words the, is, under.

there is a thin line between reasonable suspicion and constant paranoia,,,,

thing is, why are they called conspiracy theory's in the first place? key word here "theory"... there is no proof of what they are babbling about..

whenever people start making accusations about something with absolutely no proof, they get the label... then they wanna whine about being called a CT'er...

whoa whoa

that's why i just laugh at them, they accumulate all this worthless info, and then turn it into a "theory" as to what happened, and then tell everyone they know what happened, and anyone who disagrees with then is a government mule...
rofl
classic

I have read the government's version of 9-11 and they don't have any proof for their theories either.

In fact I have seen more proof against them and in favor of some other theories.

I don't think I know a single conspiracy theorist who has ever claimed that they "know" what happened... except for the government theorists, and they have no proof to back up their theory.

You "laugh" at people because you don't have any better response.

pretty sure you have seen almost no proof against them. Someone told you something wrong that they claim is right and you believe them and say its proof.

So they studied posts on internet sites. Yes a very good psychological study....whoa

Odds are the CTs have driven the no CTs insane by making the same circular arguments since the inception of the internet.

lol,, ok

I just hope you are never in a situation where someone follows you,, (First in a car and then on foot) while you are walking alone at night,,,let alone has the gall to question YOu about your behavior before attempting to grab you,,,,

if treyvon had killed Zimmerman, he could have gotten off with self defense too as long as z still got a shot off

after all, who WOULDNT fight an armed stalker who had confronted him? then his 'being on top' would be irrelevant, and proving beyond a doubt what initiated the fight would be all about whatever treyvon claimed,,,,,

which would align with the evidence of z himself admitting to following him , being heard calling him a fing punk , and being irritated that he might get away, and then having a BULLET HOLE in martin,,, Im sure the evidence could easily back up treyvon when he said he was fighting in 'self defense',,,,,

If someone was following me like that I would use my cell phone and dial 911, then run to the nearest house and dial 911 and not try to show off for my girlfriend and call the guy a cracker and approach him and try to fight him. Just sayin'

come at me bro

It's certainly not a fake marriage, so I'm not seeing how it's not real.

I wouldn't say certainly is this case. Why is it certainly not a fake marriage? Many religions consider any legal marriage basically not married. This is for straight couples as well. I married my wife in a courthouse and according to my families religion we are not married.

This is why I believe ms harmony specifies "legal marriage" but she can correct me if I am wrong.

Are you married or not? If so, it doesn't really matter what others believe.

Whether I am married or not depends on your frame of reference. I am not so egotistical that I will go around telling other people they are wrong that believe in something different than I. I am more open minded than that.

How does it depend on my frame of reference? Are you legally married or not? You are or you aren't.

See that is the point. Now you said legally married. Yes I am legally married. Yet some people believe it is not the government that says when you are married. It must be a religious leader. So if your frame of reference is based on the government then yes, if it is based on religion then no.

See that is exactly it. They dont care about what is good for the American people, but what will win them their next election. This is BS. There should be no Bill over 50 pages much less 1200. If it doesn't fit in 50 pages it should be split into multiple bills. I am sure most of the Senate doesn't even know whats in it.
