My daughter's father has never been around and trust me, it gets better!
I know it's really lonely right now, and there will be rough spots along the way but you and your child will be so much closer. That's what makes it all worth it :) Hang in there! (and make sure he at least fulfills his financial obligations) |

I will talk to people without one, but I think it's easier to get a sense of who someone is when you can see them. I figure, if I put my pic up why can't someone else? If someone is interested they will see what you look like eventually for better or worse!

Sounds like she was sending some mixed signals which is definitly confusing!
She might not really know what she wants yet, so if you really like her, I would let her take the lead on what happens next. I don't think the email and voicemail is too much. If she is interested she will give you a call back! |

If one still has feelings, they will always be trying to wedge themselves back into the other's life. Tried it before, and this person screwed up several possible relationships before I put an end to the friendship! Maybe if there is some distance, where you won't have to see that person all the time and they won't know about everything going on in your life... |

I don't think it's unethical or sneaky to send her a friend request. It wouldn't freak me out nearly as much as some of the stuff I get in my inbox ;)
I say try it. I sure would hate to miss out on someone just because they are a few months outside of my age range. |

Yea, there is something very wrong here!
Either he is just messing with you, or he wants to get you alone away from witnesses! I would drop him fast, you don't need to waste your time on this guy if it took that long to even try meeting. And be very careful when you meet new people! |
