People need to find out what works best for them and not judge others.

I am surprised by the results of this poll. I would of thought the guys would of said YES and the women NO. But, it appears most folks of either sex think that this is a workable situation.

I think generally folks who are single over 50 understand the realities of life and dating. And maybe the ideal relationship does not exist, but we still need the companionship and intimacy so arrangements are made between consenting adults.

Probably in a lot of cases there is more there than just friendship, but to keep things simple we just call it FWB.

Personally I think whatever two people come to agree on and if it works then have fun and enjoy each other's company. Life is too short try to make everything perfect.

Women have ex's also that they remain friends with. The men could not be hanging on to old gf's if the gf's didn't participate. JMHO

Well it is complicated the older we get. There are lot's of reasons someone may not be able to totally end a past relationship. Maybe some relationships aren't really over until they are over. If anyone understands what I mean. But, we still need to go on living our lives.

Maybe the only people that can understand this type of thing is someone in a similar situation.

People seem to have opinions, doesn't mean there is logic involved. I am fine with folks having their own point of view. Just don't restrict what I do and my rights because you view the world differently than me. Just my opinion on this.

Roger, it is tough out there. That is the problem with old flames, if there still is a spark a fire may re-ignite. Time and again I hear about this type of situation. Not that I know how to deal with this type of situation. I guess, one just goes really slow until you know that the person you are involved with is there for you 100 percent. In the mean time just try to have some fun.

Why get married? A friend of mine who has been divorced a couple of times, told me he will marry again when he accumulates too much stuff. That why he can rid of half of it real quick when divorce time rolls around again.

Seems like moving in together is a quick way to put an
end to a perfectly good relationship. Been there. Done that. Not good when the fun ends and reality sets in.

Well it does seem that everyone side steps the issue of sex in a relationship. Let's face it people on of the reasons men and women connect is because of sex. But, it seems like many people just don't like to admit to that fact of life.
