Hey everyone! Just wanted to pop in and chat with yall :)
so here's my topic to keep this lively!( and shush. I botched the title and I haven't the slightest on how to fix it! But you understand right?? Hehe )

-how long have you lived in AZ?
-favorite thing about AZ?
-what you do for fun in AZ?

So I'll start. I was born in raised in Deer Valley and thankfully moved before that Castle place appeared ( which to my understanding is a " naughty store" ...so sad...) then I moved to new Mexico and Texas and then moved to Prescott valley! So I've been in AZ for about..12 years.
I'd say my favorite thing about AZ is the diverse scenery. Its at most a 3 hour drive from mountains to desert and you can even escape the heat that way! :)
I'm still a youngin. So there's not much to do for fun I'd say, but I enjoy visiting the grand canyon and just absorbing the setting there ( even if the tourists and red necks are in masses...)
True story: while visiting with family to the GC I heard a young boy say to his younger brother " I wonder if I pushed you over the side if you'd die..." and his brother stepped away from the ledge HAHA! And yes, that sentence is a bit rough sounding but the boy had a Texan like accent so.. * shrugs*

Can't wait to hear from yall!! :)

Nobody want's to play?....

Ok, then I'll give it a go.

I was born in Mexico City, moved to the U.S. in '83 and Naturalized in '01. I went to Carl Hayden H.S. then I attended PC and now I'm at ASU. I've lived 20 of the last 25 years in AZ.

My favorite thing about AZ, the natural desert. At least this desert is better than the one you see in Texas or Kuwait (psst... more vegetation)

Fun things to do in AZ.... walking up Camelback mountain first thing in the morning and check out the sunrise.

Well, I was born at St. Joe's hospital. My family moved to South Dakota when I was 4 and I spent my childhood there. After graduating high school I moved back down here and have been ere ever since.

I love the fact that there's so much to do here and the scenery is gorgeous. I also like that we are so close to anything. You want snow in winter, drive a couple hours. Vegas is a short drive or an even shorter flight. Want the beach? It's a short easy drive or flight.

The sunrises and sunsets here are usually amazing to see. yea it gets hot here for a couple months or so, but sure beats shoveling snow and wearing a lot of clothes!

Just thought I would say hi. I am in Show Low right now and the wind is howling and it has been raining on and off all day long.
