I love Halloween, but all these religious fanatics have ruined it for
our children. They can no longer dress up at school and parade around
the block. When my daughter Holly was in first grade she was the
coolest Vampire ever. Her teacher took pics of all the kids and they
made Christmas ornaments out of them to give as gifts to their parents
at Christmas. To this day, that one gets a special spot on the tree, my
daughter dressed as a Vampire in a big green and gold star!

I love tats, anywhere and everywhere except the face and front of the
neck. It depends on the person and how they wear them that counts as
well. Some peeps wear tats well, others don't. In my opinion, that
goes for both male and female. I don't understand why some people
thinks its such a big deal, it's been going on for centuries, as well as
peircings.

I don't want to be a downer here on the site so I will refrain from alot
of discussion about Ranee. If there is news, I will be sure to let
everyone know. Right now we are playing the waiting game. There is
nothing more we can do but hope and pray she's going to come through.
With the issue about her liver we still don't know for sure.

If this is something you both want, and you feel the marriage is solid
then go for it. Something like this could backfire tho, and he may form
an attraction to her that could cause a riff in your marriage. Think it
through and above all else, discuss all those issues with your hubby.

thanks so much, one thing about a crisis is it brings family and friends
close. I wish you didn't need a crisis for that to happen, but you
really know who loves you during these times. No news is good news and
there hasn't been much today. I'm waiting to hear from my sis after 7
p.m. central. It is going to be a long hard road back for my neice. I
just keeping praying for a healing.

Funny, the way things go. I have heard from dear friends who have moved
away from me sometime ago. They weren't aware of what has been going
on. We hadn't talked for about a year. She had been on my mind through
this ordeal as we were very close. God can give you very subtle hints
that you are loved and that everything is in his hands.

Something like this brings reality into focus, and really makes you
reevaluate what is really important in life.

Ranee made it through the night, but things are more grim than orginally
known. At this point, doctors say her liver is beginning to shut down.
Ranee has got to fight to survive. She's a fighter, and that's what we
are all prayer for now. She's a beautiful young woman. She deserves so
much to have a second chance at life...Hug your children today and tell
them that you love them.

I just got off the phone with Tami, my sister. Ranee is resting
peacefully. It's been a day from hell to be certain. In my wildest
dreams I would never imagine Ranee out of all of our kids to do
something so horrific. She's so bright, she's never gotten less than an
"A" in her entire life. She's had this beautiful little girl, she was
living a dream. She had recently split from her boyfriend, they didn't
marry, but she is heaven and earth to him. I don't know why she left
him. She had been living on her own, she had a good job and was able to
support herself and the baby and Rick continued to be a huge part of
their lives. All I know is she wanted to come home and was very
homesick. She was planning to come back for a visit in the next week.
Her surgery lasted eight hours. Tami is leaving in the morning. You
always think this shit happens to someone else, not you...when it does
it's very surreal. I need to get some rest, if I can. I will post an
update in the morning. I have friends here that I have called upon, but
my being able to share here has been more comforting to me than you all
can know. Just knowing that beyond my hometown there are prayers going
out for our baby is a blessing.

I'm hearin ya Lovel, we had talked for sometime over the net prior to my
handing over the digits. Things seemed to get weird after that. I'm
not real experienced with this online dating crap, but I know better
than to hand out personal info too quickly. I thought he was worthy, it
was only until later on as I said, he got weird. It was definately a
learning experience. And you are right, after the first hang up, he
should have never been given an opportunity for a second one.

T, we've all been hurt. Speaking for myself, more times than I can
count. You have to rise above that shit and learn from it and be a
better person because of it. you can't let it taint you from having
compassion towards all of humanity. The more one gives, the more that
will given back to you.

Ranee made it out of surgery and is in intensive care. My sister is
leaving for Nebraska in the morning. Thank you all for being there for
me and giving me strength. I have been distraut most of day. I'm very
tired. I will give you another update when I hear. She is not out of
the woods, we have to make it throught the night.
