The site WILL remain free if we keep growing in users. The more users
we have the more features we can build.

We're working on 1 on 1 chat now. Chat rooms may come later. If we
double in size three times, that might be big enough for state chat
rooms.

We really appreciate the feedback, it helps us
to develop the right plans.

Some of you have also voiced concerns about whether or not the bigger
the site the more problems we will have. Actually, the bigger we are,
the EASIER it be for us.

The biggest advantage of a big site is that when people come here, there
is a higher chance they will find what they are looking for (a person, a
discussion room, a chat room, whatever).

This also means we get more traffic. Since we are a 100% FREE site, we
only make money on advertising. Lots of traffic helps advertising.
More money = more staff and more stability.

These are all great suggestions.. we'd love to be able to send people on
cruises... maybe that can happen one day if we're big enough... like
instead of the $500 monthly prize, it would be a cruise!

But to keep the topic on hand... we want ideas on how to get more people
to the site.. Of course we can always pay for advertising (we are doing
that now btw). But if we could get each user to bring in just one or
two of their friends, it would really help.

Most likely this was a spammer email that got automatically deleted.

Hi all,

Ever since launch (about 2.5 months ago), we have been growing very
fast. It is a great start and we are really excited about
the site. and its potential. We've even had many people meet someone
special. In short, it has been excellent progress.

But, in order for us to get to the next level, we need to figure out how
we can get the help of the community to spread the word about our free
high quality service.

We'd love to hear your ideas here. Here is the challenge:

For each person somehow directly or indirectly on average to invite 5
people each.

Would you do it if we asked nicely?
Would you do it if we built features (like "Send This Photo to a
Friend")
Would you do it if we gave you a chance to win stuff?

What would motivate you? We look forward to hearing your ideas.

Just remember, if everyone invited just 1 person, the site would double,
and that would mean twice as much everything (matches, potential dates,
etc etc)

i have no experience here, but...

i think it's a focus issue. don't focus on finding a replacement, focus
on discovering a new person. no one is ever going to compare to your
late husband, but then they shouldn't be. it is unfair to them and you.

if i was married and i passed away, i would want my wife to move on and
find a new life with a another good man if she could.

All the things you guys mentioned is why we think that a free dating
site like this makes sense.

It's what people want. People are sick of being scammed.

Pay dating doesn't make sense, it's a business model that has worked in
the past because there were no alternatives. Now there is an
alternative.

We just need people to tell their friends about their good experiences.
That is why will help this site stay around and free forever.

New matches is a way for you to see new people that fit your search
preferences. This section will get better and better as we improve our
system and release some cool features.

You can choose to show only people with photos by the way.

Search > Change Search Preferences > click on photos only > Save

You can't delete SENT mails... they will delete themselves automatically
