If you practice certain religions it is forbidden to have sex outside of marriage. That's what I meant. But if don't hold to any of those religious beliefs I don't see any reason to get married.

Outside of religion I do not see the purpose of marriage.

Flying outta' LAX yesterday we went over the ocean and it made me nervous. I was wondering if I got on the wrong plane or something. I was like "Yr goin' the WRONG way, man!!!!" laugh  Of course they were just circling around...but still....

Airline pilots get bored so they do stuff like that to freak the passengers out for their own entertainment.

Adversity is necessary for humans to evolve. Without disaster, pain and disease we would never grow and never advance. Think of a child who has always been given what they wanted and never suffered through any hardship. What do they turn into?

Some of the best people are the people that have suffered the most in this lifetime. Adversity brings out the best and worst in people. The goal is to use it to bring out the best in yourself rather than let it bring out the worst.

I think that definitely puts you in the agnostic category. Nothing wrong with that. Learning is a never ending process. flowerforyou

I agree with you. Although I try hard not to judge all Christians or all Muslims or all Mormons or all anything based on how some of them act.

Well, unfortunately this is not an uncommon situation in many families regardless of what the religion is. Most parents want their children (or nieces and nephews or grandchildren) to be the same religion as them. It's a normal, although not good, way to behave.

But, you are an adult and you have to decide what's right for you. If you are happy being a Wiccan and that is the path you have chosen then you need to follow it. I would just stick to my guns in a polite and respectful manner with your Aunt and continue what you're doing. Hopefully, in time, she will accept your decision.
