Have you had a drastic change in any of your views/ideologies over the last 5-10 years , whether it be in religion, politics, love and relationships or your personal identity? I am annoyingly similar to how I have always been. Maybe a little more conservative and understanding with age, and not as judgmental on either side of any fence. I have always had the ability to see all side of things...even with strongly held positions [political, social, etc]. I have a better understanding of that ability now and appreciate it. Whereas when I was younger I thought myself as wishy washy and did not like that aspect of me. It turns out that I am not wishy washy and I am glad of that realization. |

Books that have had an influence on the development of my values include several of James Michener's works. Books by Willa Cather, Marjorie Kinan Rawlings, Ernest Hemingway and F S Fitzgerald, Victor Hugo's Les Miserables. Siddartha, Stories by Richard Wright, The poetry of Robert Frost, and Roger Tory Peterson's Field Guide to N American Birds, Terres Audubon Encyclopedia of N American Birds which I have not read in it's entirety. The New Testament. Ralph Ellison's Invisible Man.
I suppose that's a brief list to start with :) |

Morning fellow minglers. What are your thoughts on celibacy and holding out until you get to know someone? You mean as opposed to banging someone you just met at the grocery store? I would have to know them as well as the Brussell Sprouts. hopefully he will taste better |

Nutters will always find a way. Has nothing to do with gun control. There are back ground checks in place, but they can't predict someone going crazy or the illegal gun sales. That happens true not all things can be predicted even under the tightest security, I agree. Even if the game was not "high" profile by definition [like an inauguration for example], it was still attended by public figures warranting security....so I think that is the lesson learned. but someone asked about back ground checks. I agree no one solution is a "catchall" but with back ground checks what they can look for is personal, mental, and criminal history. just another avenue not THE answer.... Just because one solution or answer does not solve ALL problems does not mean we should totally abandon it, in my opinion. Your link looks interesting Yellowrose. |

I am less concerned about gun laws and more concerned about an apparent lack of intelligence/security at a high profile event like this with a crowd where there were public figures present. Who had the perimeter? even with security nothing could be done when having a gun is LEGAL. They would have no reason to stop or detain him. However, they probably did reduce the potential carnage and they took him out alive, quite the accomplishment. I suppose that part of it was a positive takeaway. Were the weapons used legal? Unfortunately if those types want weapons they will find them. But that does not mean controls aren't needed. They definitely are. I don't "blame" the security team, but I will bet they take a lesson from this. |

Name Calling

So my 39 year-old nephew is having his first child and if it is a girl he wants to follow the family tradition and begin her name with a 'J'. He has selected 'Josie' the dead Grandmother's name. This rather puts out the other live Grandmother, Joye. So, I suggested 'Joysie'. It would sound like Jersey, with an accent. Guaranteed not to be duplicated elsewhere in the land of 'J's. A sure conversation starter, don't you think? One of the Grandmothers is not talking to me now. (I also named the last one..'Jazz'.) What do you think? personally would not choose the name of either Grandma [says the Dear Abbey in me] I like Jane and Jamie |

When do you feel most lonely
|
|
If my friends are not around, I feel SUPER LONELY on New Years Eve. I tend to feel lonely right AFTER the holidays. Normally I like to spend time alone, but have spent the few weeks prior planning and chatting with the Fam. So when that is all over with, it seems so quiet and lonely sometimes Actually when all is said and done, I also like that they are over with and I can get back to my normal routine....just takes time to transition |

Trump Establishes Voter Fraud Commission- May 11 2017 President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Thursday creating a commission aimed at investigating alleged vote fraud — a move that drew swift rebuke from civil liberty groups and liberal lawmakers amid worries the panel's work could seek to justify voter suppression. Trump's order establishes a commission to review alleged voter fraud throughout the American election system. Vice President Mike Pence will head the group, called the "Presidential Commission on Election Integrity." Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, an immigration hardliner and strict voter identification law advocate mulling a gubernatorial run, will serve as vice chair. The panel will be tasked with studying "vulnerabilities" in the voting system, as well as potential impacts on "improper voting, fraudulent voter registrations, and fraudulent voting." voter fraud should be stopped. |

Good evening M2 family, this week I'm posting 2 forums one is my usual controversy in the political room & this one, we have a little bit of fun. The weather in Philadelphia right now its hot, hot, hot which I call it " Hotadelphia" 91 degrees, sunny. Now My 2nd family in the cyber world, let me ask you, when we talk about rock n' rollers off all times what names are on your personal list? What's playing on your Iphone Playlist? What rock Group or artist did you grow up listening to? And what was you doing during that period? I put myself for example, back in the 80's Depeche Mode's " Enjoy The Silence" was a ground breaking smash hit, I was down at the Jersey Shore, body boarding in cool waters of the Atlantic Ocean. So what's in your personal list of Best Rockers & groups in your world? All Replies Will Be Answered...... Later! EyeAmYourHost39, Van Halen ACDC Led Zepplin Beatles Staind Alice in Chains Soundgarden Steve Miller Band. I have lived too long to stop at 5... I also really like some of the work from some you mentioned like Limp Bizkit and Rage Against The Machine & the Red Hot CPs. |

Voter Fraud and Sanctuary Cities in America Voter fraud does exist as recently exposed by undercover FBI agents in California. Any illegal can obtain a 3-pack in areas where they live. The cost is a mere $100-300, depending on quality. It consists of: a work permit, driver license, and a fake SSN number. Usually, these documents are received within 1-2 days. They give the impression to those who fail to carefully look, the person is a U.S. citizen or legally here. The work permit allows them to complete for jobs real Americans apply for as does the SSN. Most voter registration will accept the SSN and driver license, yet, there is NO way those registering voters can verify that either is legitimate. They look at them and sign them up even though they are not U.S. citizens. There are millions of those here legally with their Green Cards, SSN, work permit. If they are asked if they are citizens, and they say "yes", there is NO way the voter registrar can verify this at that time. So, to say, there is no voter fraud is laughable. The issue is to what extent is the problem and finding this out is equally difficult. It would require so much effort and time, many think it is not worth the effort. The undercover FBI agents state that when illegals are apprehended, it is more likely than not, they will possess a voter registration card based on their fake SSN and license. That is a startling find. ummmm...am I missing something? Are authorities in Cali that stupid? If someone has a work permit and/or green card they can't be citizens, Being here legally is not enough to be able to vote. Are they REALLY asking people with Green Cards if they are citizens??? [don;t know whether to laugh or cry] |

Do you care what other people think of you? Whose opinion has enough power to influence your actions? no and no one only possible exception is an authority figure who, for example, asks me to do something at work or in my building But on a personal level no one , really never has been but I am really nice though |
