I'm a little torn on this one b/c I personally don't think 5 days is that long. but if you are ready to take it to the next level, just ask him. He could be waiting on you. If he flat out refuses to give you his number then I may be a little suspicious. but then again he might be a little shy and communicating through email might be easier. I would bring it up to him and see what he says.

I would drop some hints though b/c chances are he's probably feeling the same, just don't go overboard. You don't want to scare him away.

Awww! That is adorable and sweet! How old are they? I can't wait for mine to reach that age when he can make me breakfast.

Honestly, I would wait until you are truly ready for marriage b/c it is a huge step. If he loves you he will respect your decision. You really don't need that piece of paper to prove your love anyhow. There is no rush. If you think it will grow into something more, then let it and eventually you will know you're ready. The fact that you are having second thoughts and posting the question shows you want to give it a little more time.

It's hard meeting new people. I just got out of a 6.5 year relationship and realized what little friends I have. It is definitely a lonely feeling. However, I do a little one here w/me a lot of the time so anyone w/a 3.5 yr old knows you don't get much privacy. lol. laugh I agree w/the others to post more and even if you only make a few online friends, sometimes it gives you something to look forward to. Good luck to you!

I say feel him out. If he has expressed interest in meeting my family and or my son I would feel he was ready. or if there is a family function coming up or a holiday. I guess it really depends on the relationship and where it's headed. I don't think there is a specific timeframe.

But the truth is if you are serious about finding someone than you should put a pic up b/c that does attract more attention. so, sometimes I wonder too. I mean I'm sure someone w/in your family, friends, or co-workers has to have a digital camera. I suppose they could be shy but chances are you're missing out on opportunities w/out a picture up. That is the first thing people look at.

You shouldn't let one bad apple stop you from posting here. It helps to get things off your chest and talk or type to people. Good luck to both of you.
