That's kind of what I was thinking - they just want more $ from me. Here's another dumb-girl question: now if the power goes out I still have phone service but if its through my computer and the computer battery only last so long, am I SOL? At least for home phone? do you actually use a regular phone? Will I need more than one modem if I have more than one phone? I haven;t replied to their e-mails yet; I don't want to call and convince them I know nothing

I've been receiving notices from the company that provides my cable/internet about Digital Phone, coming soon. Don't know anyone who uses digital phone - what would be the benefit ( other than a package deal saving some $) Does anyone have digital phone?
