She came to me
in a vision from a dream,
someone I had met
years ago it seems.

She looked at me
with her loving,and tender eyes,
turned my heart from stone
and to an unexpected surprise.

Once again my heart ran pure
like maple from the jar,
and awoke all my sense
to what they now are.

Tears flowed down my face
as I tried to choke them back,
but my emotions ran wild
and this was a fact.

She came to me a beauty
one I met so long ago,
shifted all her devotion
and I became her future beau.

Thanks Susan...that brought a smile to my face...all I ever try to do is be the someone, someone could call friend. It makes me feel good knowing I can make others smile with what I write. Who knows, I may change that before long, with "There's a heart, smiling for you."
