when you look deep inside your heart and soul, what do you you see
there has been hurt, the lies, how did it happen to me?
the heart is a precious thing, to love and to adore.
it is locked up never to set free no more.

we want love for life. but is it worth what we have to endure to find.
can we lock it up and feel it is justified in our minds.
then tell ourselves we can go through life being happy.
we can go without love, hugs, & kisses it is just being sappy.

time will make it pass. like spring does to the fallen snow
to have someone reach inside your soul, tingle down to your toes.
you have to step back and catch your breath to insure it is real.
can you open your heart your soul for that kind of a deal.

do you have the ache and the yearning, someone to give yourself to.
how can it be if to your heart & soul you can not be true.
will you lock it up and watch life go by from the sidelines.
or jump in and find true love to forever be entwined

Such an important question we all must answer...

thanks to the the folks out here that have such good things to say about the writing that I have done.
I write from the heart and let it guide me thru to the pen and paper.
