Haha, I just gave up on trusting anyone. I really care about Rick (aka naturalstyle on here), but even though I know he cares about me I can't even bring myself to trust it...lol. He lives in New York, and wants to come down here. We deactivated together and I told him he could reactivate while I was offline so he wouldnt get too bored til I got a phone on. Even though I know he cares for me I HAD to reactivate to check his postings since I've been gone. I think my trust in men is just really shot now adays... I know exactly how you feel. I have learned from my many failed relationships that a trust worthy man is someone I'll never meet.

I think you're kidding yourself to say that there are no honest people and everyone is into playing games. I think you're kidding yourself, too, to say that you don't trust anymore.

Still, there are honest and trustworthy people out here, too. That's the type of person most of us hope to meet.

Hope is what we all have to go on! It is a pain meeting someone who you think is the person you've been looking for, only to discover otherwise. Our hope, though, keeps us sticking our necks out again and again. It's like trying to win a lottery. You know what the chances are and you know that there are people who have won, so you try. The upside to meeting someone special versus entering a lottery is that the odds of meeting someone special are much, much better. It happens!

I too had been one to wear my heart on my sleeve...that got the heart crushed a few times. So much so that I had given up in looking for my 'one and only'. I still hung around on JSH due to all the wonderful friends I had found and the support they had offered. Then one day back in March...when I wasn't expecting it...
