My 80 year old dad

take his US CITIZENSHIP OATH TAKING CEREMONY in am...I am so happy for him because
1. he still doing good from COLORECTAL CANCER after undergoing Chemo/Radiation/Surgery...Unfortunatley,He still goes for his monthly porta cath flush.My dad is deaf as can be but a great ballroom dancer....Chicks dig him at the senior center. 2. I traveled 11 times from 1991 to 2005 to convince my dad to live with me in USA...he lives alone in Philippines with a dog ...and I live alone in Chitown.... Tomorrow we go to the federal building and I will be thinking of my Mingle family when I go there with him....My bro from Philippines will be able to witness this great event.. Hep Hep Hooray x3.....

I am probably way behing in posting this since seen bracelets, rings, and necklaces with this but for those of you newly touched by Cancer like our family, once again, I found this particularly comforting. It could cross over to many crisis issues. "WHAT CANCER CAN NOT DO.... It cannot invade the soul, Suppress memories, Kill true friendships, Destroy peace, Conquer the spirit, Shatter hope, Cripple love, Corrode faith, Steal eternal life, Silence courage." thanks so much for posting...my dad has cancer...everyday i struggle seeing him through this.... |

I keep reading all these treads having to do with what is considered beautiful, what is to fat, ect, ect. All women are beautiful. You are the creaters of life, You posses something magical. When we take the time to get to know you and truely start to fall for the person you are we look past the "imperfections" and even find them irresistable. So please stop worrying that you are not the perfect dress size or you don't look quite like someone else. Give us a chance to fall in love with the person that you truely are. Kinda hard to dispute those sentiments. Where the problem comes in is when people start believing that 'beautiful' is only the Photoshopped images of anorexic models in shiny-paper magazines. Beauty is only partially external ... the true beauty is inside, and lives in the mind. It is expressed in personal conduct and everyday behavior. Those who pay attention to the woman beyond the external woman will understand the difference. Those who don't ... well, their loss. Oh - the concept is also reversible ... |
