Topic: What Cancer Can Not Do | |
---|---|
I am probably way behing in posting this since seen bracelets, rings, and necklaces with this but for those of you newly touched by Cancer like our family, once again, I found this particularly comforting. It could cross over to many crisis issues.
"WHAT CANCER CAN NOT DO.... It cannot invade the soul, Suppress memories, Kill true friendships, Destroy peace, Conquer the spirit, Shatter hope, Cripple love, Corrode faith, Steal eternal life, Silence courage." |

I love this. We had it posted multiple places around the cancer center I worked at. One of the patients has a saying: cancer sucks, life is good, choose joy!

Thank you PacificStar. I actually wrote a poem called 'The Malignant Cell' (it's posted in the poetry forum) which is along similar lines. I was going through a period of insomnia and got up and wrote down my thoughts at the time.
I wish you strength with whatever you're having to deal with. |

Awesome! I am going to pass this along to a wonderful woman who used to work for me and is now battling cancer herself.
Thanks! |

We have this on our fridge. My father passed Last DEC 21st from stage 4 melanoma, my uncle passed two months ago, except he went in for what he thought was appendicitis and was cancer, We lost him within only a few weeks. I pray for anyone who has cancer or has a family member with it. I sat with my dad every day his last few months when things got really underway. if anyone has any questions I would be glad to lend my advice or knowledge. When my dad was dying, I was very confused about the whole process and what steps were taking place as he faded away one day at a time. Slowly he was changing and it didnt even feel like he had cancer at first, he was such a fighter until the very end. Even then we knew he was struggling not to let go.
