Wow, I'm so tired of reading threads where people are just whining because they can't find a date, a lover, their soulmate. WTF? Most of us on here are single. Hello?? Do you think if we knew the answer, we would be here? Suck it up and press on. Stop the damn whining. Or go to your room. I can't find a date! I can't find a lover! I can't find my soulmate! Man, it sure is tiring, looking for three people! |

Did anyone see "Bridge To Terabithia"?
Probably the MOST un-Disney Disney movie ever made. I never read the original book, so I was knocked cold by the shocking twist about 2/3 of the way into the movie. Not the best movie I've ever seen, but pretty good. I haven't been to 10 movies this year, only three. The other two were Spider-Man 3 (best of the series, tho 1 and 2 were awesome), and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer(also pretty good, but no Spidey). So, my "best" movie of the year: SPIDER-MAN 3! |

The GENERAL DISCUSSION board has become a post-center for insecure people asking us to tell them how good they look. Damn people... it's pathetic. You're all beautiful in your own way... SO STOP ASKING!!! So, tell me, Singing , How good DO I look? |

I originally posted this in another forum, but with 6 of 8 people voting to delete the topic (wrong forum given as the reason), I thought it was too good a topic to abandon. So, here goes:
================================================================ For some of us, at this time of the year, it's hard to think about what we have to be thankful for. A lot of people fall into that trap, pining over what we don't have, rather than being thankful for that that we DO have. So, with that being said, here's some of the things I'm thankful for as we go headfirst into this holiday season: In no particular order: I AM THANKFUL FOR: My Parents, who are both still around, and close enough that I can visit them whenever I want. The rest of my family, who I know will be there for me if I need them to be. My job (even tho I complain about it at times--who doesn't?) where the work's not bad, and I consider most of my co-workers friends. My apartment, which is small yet cozy, and has stores, restaurants and various shops within walking distance. My health, which is pretty good for a guy my age. People I have met during my life--I seem to learn something new from everyone I meet, and I love hearing people's stories. My mind--as long as you have that, you can think and plan, and strive to make improvements in your life. My (mostly) positive attitude. Show me a negative experience, and I'll show you something you can learn from. The fact that I'm not with someoneright now--I'd rather be alone than with someone who's only "filling a spot". Besides, when the rightone DOES come along, there's nothing worse than being tied down with that "spot filler". Thee's SO much more I'm thankful for, but one more thing thatI'm thankful for that needs to be said is: ALL THE WONDERFUL PEOPLE ON JSH! LIKE FAMILY TO ME! MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO YOU ALL! |

Well, of course I'd love to have that "special someone" with me to share the holidays with.......
......but that doesn't seem to be happening So, I guess I'll just have to settle for a new HDTV . Of course, not until after the 1st of the year. MAINLY, I WANT TO SEE EVERYONE HAVE THE HAPPIEST OF HOLIDAYS! |

Depends on what you're looking for and your personal age limits. If you're looking for friends, age shouldn't matter. If you're looking for a relationship, you have to decide the age limits you'll accept in a potential girlfriend. Then you can limit who messages you. |

I think also that you can only put testimonials on profiles of people who are on your friends list.
I'll also agree to be on anyone's friends list that wants me on it. |

I'll tell you one thing that really gets on my nerves. It's these "Televised" marriage proposals. You know, the news anchor proposing to his co-anchor. People getting on stadium jumbotrons and proposing. Small planes with banners saying, "Will you marry me (her name). Just once--ONCE--I'd love to see some guy ask his sweetie on camera to marry him, only to get a big "HELL, NO!".
I mean, what's with the big productions? Isn't the proposal supposed to be an "intimate moment"? Intimate doesn't mean IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE FREAKING WORLD! |

well back during the cuban missile crisis they planned to stage an attack on us siol and blame it on cuba but (i think it was macnemara) said he would go public if they did it Hey, adj4u, wasn't that called "Operation Northwoods"? There was a magazine called "Free American" out a few years ago that not only talked about that, but listed(backed up by quote sources)a LONG list of inconsistencies concerning 9/11 and events leading up to it. Wish I hadn't loaned that copy to a friend. And before the neocons rip "Free American" as a "liberal" publication, I strongly suggest that they actually read a copy. Believe me, this magazine certainly has no love lost for liberals! |

I miss seeing the "Alpha Male" Monty Brown as well. I refuse to call him by his stupid WWE name--between that and "Gunner Scott" I'm wondering who's working in "Creative":Soap Opera writers???
Don't shed too many tears for Monty, tho. He's still making a six-figure income as a personal fitness trainer. Add that to a few autograph signing events here and there, and Monty will earn quite a bit more than he was making as a WWE employee. AND YOU WILL FEEL THE PPPPPPPPOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNCCCCCCCCCCCEEEEEEEEE........ ......PERIOD!!!!!! |

In a perfect world, the general election would be John Edwards vs Mike Huckabee.
Hillary's too "say what you want to hear", Guiliani's got the morals of a weasel, Obama's simply not presidential material, and Thompson's too lazy. Edwards and Huckabee are the two best choices in a bad lot. |
