what is the advantage of putting people here, just wondering? Like is it just for testamonials or are there other advantages.

Eh. I think it's easier to see when your friends are online. But as you can see...I have 3 friends...and one of those is gone now. lol
|

if someone is on your freinds list i think it disables the
settings for you to e-mail them if they have limitations on who can do so |

I agree it's easier to see who's on. And its kinda like a little shoutout, so that they know their on 'your list' so to speak.

I know a gal, in real life who is on this site and myspace and I think for her it's to build up a low self-esteem.

I only have 2 friends and they are ones I email regularly. It makes it easier to email them.

it'd be nice if you could find posts of your friends or something. There's a few folks who I really enjoy their humor and would love to be able to find their posts easily.

I think also that you can only put testimonials on profiles of people who are on your friends list.
I'll also agree to be on anyone's friends list that wants me on it.
