The whole day spent in anticipation.
I can't wait until the moon appears.
We have plans to indulge in some mental penetration.
Hope they don’t get broken, could cause emotional arrears.
 
I got the world inside my palm so tight.
I will if our plans hold together tonight.
Make the wish I supplicate for come true this warm eve.
Truth bears fruit revealing every trick up the sleeve.

She weighs in on her past and wall of fame.
He brags to his friends in attempt to better his name.
It gets back like it always does.
Now wondering what happened to what once was.

When we first met it was more than just right.
Never regret or forget how we held so tight.
I can still here your voice calling my name.
But without you here it's just not the same.

Silken was the sound her voice would make.
Wilted flowers from our past lay on the window sill.
I can remember every promise you choose to break .
My head's reluctant but my heart belongs with you still.

In this dream all fear is gone and real love never goes away.
We share thoughts before our minds can think of what their going to say.
She can paint a picture in her head and I'd illustrate it with great ease.
I bring her shade on hot & sunny days with a little twist of breeze.

So open to be ashamed is not an option to which I can resign.
I'm hoping that our flame can be rekindled in some time.
I've come down feeling the shock of my egotistical buzz.
I wonder no longer what happened to what once was.

Swiftly with elegance honeys walking through my cipher.
Unlocking doors that have been nailed shut since my kids were in diapers.

Yes I like her and the feeling is real good.
She reminds me why I can't wait to leave the hood.

Rhetoric spews from my mouth like regurgitated bird food.
She still ate it up making sure ya boy's in a great mood.

Positive action when the rear wheels spin.
She's more intrigued by where I'm going rather than where I've been.

I like that because the future holds more mystery than the past.
I let her see right through to my soul without even having to ask.

Sounds dangerous I know like I'm falling in Love.
But that's far away from today like the Heavens above.

Stop thinking about the way you can play this woman for a fool.
To bring closure once it's over is the break-ups #1 rule.

Wrangle with your thoughts and let your mind rot with jealousy.
Tangled webs woven wrought mental instabilities.

Detained at a her checkpoint and searched for fleeting hope.
Arraigned for no reason like I tried to get close to the Pope.

Is the punishment garnered fair for the accusation allegedly committed?
I think it's kind of excessive and really shouldn't be admitted.

Now acquitted of the false charges brought against me.
I won't spend one minute more where the thugs, hustlers & pimps roam free.

Basic knowledge of the principles in life keep me afloat.
Reluctant to a fault that's why you'll rarely hear me quote.

I speak from experience and if I don't know about it I ask.
I hate when people pretend they know and start talking out their a$$.
You can't make a wine drinker sip hooch from a flask.

Please don't write checks that your booty can't cash.

What made you smile this day?

Is it possible that maybe I've dug to much too deeply?
I'm gifted rest assured as the hunting lioness moves discreetly.
I'll do any trick you'd like complex as Frederick Nietzsche.

Would you prefer simple like I was Simon?
Is it somewhere in the middle that'd get me closer to your timing?

She has more potential inside her 1st verse aiding the search for sensuality to quench a certain thirst.
I can't do better but quite sure I could do worse.
Has all the right wrongs to place me under a Love curse.

In this life I've eaten crow way to much.
The simplest things enslave my ardor such as the caring gentle touch.

Why pine away for a wish that's floundering?
It's easy for me because my dreams have no boundaries.

If ever you've stumbled upon a shooting stars light is that not cause for desire?
Fantasy feeds my unfettered spirit and tatters my heart in Cupids line of fire.

I awaken most days in a daze from the mystery!
In this haze only one thing is clear.
Angst for that which escapes my past history.
Holding hopes reigns' tightly while coming to grip with future fears.
