To Be A Gentleman

Those women that thinks its alright for a man to ignore them or not hold open a door have psychological issues and were probably not treated with respect - so it's programmed into their head that its ok to be treated with disrespect!
Keep being who you are - don't let them fool you. Every woman deep down inside wants a man with manners! :) |

You shouldn't HAVE to make your relationship work, you should WANT to make it work. Having to make a relationship works is like trying to dig yourself out of debt, You have to do that, it's annoying and you're always broke.

going back to XP

I still like 2000. Xp has some nice features but still crashes. It should not take 3GB of ram to just run the operating system.... ![]() I read of some tests a couple weeks back where people are running windows 7 using 512mb - even 256mb of ram! lol...When I first put vista on I was running 1gb and it ran decent, but I had lots of lag when opening multiple programs. Now with 3gb, windows 7 is a Breeze and vista can run a heavy MMO game along with some web browsing at the same time. |

Most web development unless specifically otherwise stated is developed using IE, since it's the most recognized browser around. Not all browsers are designed the same so what works on IE most likely won't look right or work right on any other browser. I know it sucks. :/

Vista and Creative Live 24

Alzeimer is right, if your card is integrated and you are trying to put the Creative in then there is a compatibility issue and nothing will work. However, vista and the new Windows 7 operating systems have a new thing about installing unsigned hardware. (which means that it can't be done) There is a way to get around that by disabling it before you boot the OS. I have a windows vista on an old Via Motherboard and the one video card I found that was newer than my Nvidia 4200 was unsigned and vista refused to let me install it. I was pissed and even more pissed to learn what Microsoft has done with their new OS's.....If you want the article send me a direct message and I'll give you the link to it. (not sure if I can post the link here?) Thank you for this information, yes, you can post links here but I will send you an email. I haven't gotten an e-mail from you yet(maybe due to the filtering I set), but here's the link to the article: http://www.citadelindustries.net/readydriverplus/ It does mostly talk about Vista & windows 7 64bit, but also works for x86 What type of motherboard do you have? And did you find out if it's integrated? |

Truth versus lying
|

Definitely the truth. A lie hurts and makes the other person feel unworthy or that the person who is doing the lieing is trying to keep you from finding out something they know will hurt you. Truth always! Ah, but the truth hurts far more severely. Especially when it is about something you are most definitely doing wrong. Face it, not many people like the truth...and everyone has told a little white lie once. Not me, not anymore anyway, I don't even care if someone hates me because of it...because I am just that damn awesome. ![]() You know what - Yes, the truth may hurt, but the truth can also set you free. Telling the truth leaves all doubts behind...It can help someone who was confused because of lies figure out what they want to do. Like for example - after being with my ex for a year and a half and after several arguements I finally got him to admit that he never loved me - That whole time I was miserable - I was with a man that wanted more to do with his friends and personal life than my son and I, that hurts to hear the lies. Our relationship was sour and behind my back he doing local dating searches, which I caught him trying to do - he tried so hard to lie, even after what I saw. Instead of trying to make love to me - he had his face glued to his stupid porn - And some nights I could heavy breathing. That just urked me - It's like what the Hell, he doesn't love me, he doesn't want to make love to me and instead he acts like we are a burden to him- It's like, jesus - just tell me you don't love me so we can get the hell out of here and you can be single again!! TRUTH ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS! I would rather be in pain from hearing the truth than be miserable and confused from all the lies. |

Vista and Creative Live 24

My laptop, a Toshiba Satellite 300 came with Vista 32 bit home premium already installed,it is not quite a year old,it plays up to the max! I have been unable to install most of my programmes on this wretched machine. The latest has been my Creative Live! 24 surround sound set up. I visited Creative web site and found they had some Vista drives for my hardware, I downloaded it but everytime I shut my computer down and start it up I have to reinstall all of the drivers........ I have update the firmware, bios and all the relevant drives for the machine. That's what happens with Vista to many bugs trying to install hardware. Did you have integrated Audio before you tried to install your Creative labs sound card, if so did you deactivate it in your Bios before trying to install your new one. If not maybe you have a conflict with the drivers of the two sound cards and Vista is deactivating your new one when you restart.. A wild guess but a thing to check. Alzeimer is right, if your card is integrated and you are trying to put the Creative in then there is a compatibility issue and nothing will work. However, vista and the new Windows 7 operating systems have a new thing about installing unsigned hardware. I'm working on my website and can't get the swf files to play in dreamweaver. I took the skins out and put one in the root folder but since there are two videos I'm displaying, the other skin having the same name wouldn't go in without renaming or over riding. Now the controls can be seen but not the videos. If i'm not mistaken, wouldn't you want to import the .fla as a flash object into dreamweaver then just place it whereever you want it on your site? |

Some viruses create a back up exe file. Usually it looks like this:
Aeoijad.exe - some weird file name. And it can be either in System32 file, your temporary internet files (which would actually make sense why your trojan downloader keeps coming back, I had that problem on xp before) And - they can also appear in the system volume restore....where everything is deleted...so its not fully deleted. In order to get rid of that you must find all of it's "helpers" and Try to go directly into system volume and delete it. Try using an anti virus such as Avira, then anti malware such as Malwarebites anti-malware and make sure you have a good firewall such as Outpost or Online Armor so those trojans can't get through your computer. Also - watch your browsing habits...LOL |

PC reboots on it's own
|
|
Anybody have any suggestions? My computer worked just fine yesterday...this morning I started it up and it would only get to the black MICROSOFT WINDOWS start up page then reboot all by itself. It did this a few times, then I shut it down and tried again...same thing happens. Help me fix this problem, PLEASE! ![]() have you installed any new hardware or software that might be incompatible with your OS? Usually Windows will give a blue screen of death for Hardware related errors. If it is a virus than that can also cause boot problems...you should go into safe mode and do virus scan If there is a virus, let the program remove it. If it shows no virus than I suggest resetting your computer. You can reset it by unplugging all cables from computer, open the tower, find a small round battery that resembles a watch battery or a quarter, remove it and let the computer sit for 5 minutes. Then place it back in, plug in cables and restart. If that does not fix your problem then you will have to either use your windows disk to do a disk check or reformat. Good luck. |

The most common cases for pc shutdown is due to corrupted power cable either from the computer or from the outlet, fan going out in the power supply or you have a video card problem such as overheating - as well as the motherboard leaking acid and destroying components.
