what you have already told on here is great, just set up the table with a nice candlelite centerpiece and some soft music! Pick one: 1. Steaks and brats with cheese curds and a Killian's. 2. Bruschetta with tomato and basil, Roast duck with reduced cranberry glaze and asparagus spears, and gelato with a mint sprig for a finale? that really depends on the type of gal she is. If you are trying to impress her with your culinary talents, the second. If she is a steak and beer kinda gal, definately the first one. I personally would enjoy either meal. I guess it's a toss up. She cooked me a gourmet meal but on our first date I took her go-cart racing (she beat me ) and for a walk on the river bluff watching the bald eagles. well if she cooked you a gourmet meal then make the roast duck, show her that you can cook just as well and she will enjoy it. Did you lose the race on purpose? A gentleman never tells. The smile on her face was worth a million races. |

ok so my husband left me for someone eles and it kills how can i stop thinking of him as my husband and move for forward or will i ever get over this any ideas will help and thank you Been there, done that, didn't get the door prize. All I can say is it takes a while but during that time you need to realize that infidelity is for losers and that being said.... in reality you have won in the long run. You just don't see it yet. |

I thought up the second menu while jackhammering a concrete floor today. |

Scenario: Your significant other surprises you with a great dinner he made from scratch. What would set the mood for you and a kiss? The fact that he took the time to think about and prepare something special, yes that would be wonderful! That is a very romantic gesture. What would be a romantic dinner for you? |

Everyone should know how to cook. One of my daughters boyfriends came into the kitchen on Thanksgiving and asked what I was doing. When I told him I was making gravy he said, "Doesn't that come out of a can?" The kid really had no idea how gravy was made. My son knows how to cook, do his laundry and change diapers. My daughters can change tires and the oil on their cars, cut wood and use tools. We all should know those things. Men who can cook are sexy as hell I think. Anyone who cooks should be properly appreciated. I raised my three kids alone. Two sons and a daughter since my youngest was 18 months old. Now I have two grandchildren. I have no problems in the kitchen, at the grill, or doing..... wait, I still hate laundry. What would be your favorite romantic dinner Lynann? |

Apply your keen powers of observation and look and see what she has in the pantry. Chances are she buys what she likes. Repeat colors, flavors, scents, and abiance by focusing on her. Turn down the distractions by createing and oasis in a comfortable place for her. If she likes flowers... maybe a breakfast in the garden, bubblebath...a mini spa treatment in a candle lit bath...foodie...make her homemade soup....she is into music...burn a cd of her favorites or try to pick out a few cords for her...if she is tactile spread a plush blanket and offer JUST a massage. The trick is making it HER fantasy and not YOURS. If she doesn't buy lingerie don't be stupid and expect her to be thrilled with a French maid outfit two sizes too small. Do your homework and look through the laundry to see what size clothes actually fit and buy something in a color she likes or a fragrance she hoards back for special occasions. Chances are she has bought you something she found sexy or complained about things she hasn't. Go the distance and get home early enough that you are fresh and smooth and wearing the the look she loves. Make sure the bathroom is all hers minus your stinky socks or damp towels and an empty hot water tank. .Good Luck This is only our third date. And I will be cooking at my house. I got the laying on a blanket looking at the stars while sharing a hot cappuccino figured in and haven't thought beyond that. I know she likes caviar and hates watermelon. After the gourmet meal she made for me would it be appropriate for me to grill steaks and brats? |

And ive been doing these dating sites for about 7 months. And you dont know anything about me so who are you to say anything. I asked for advice not for people to make jokes about me. You are from Iowa, Minnesota's rival state. Jokes are all I got brother. |

Do you mean when someone says "does this dress make me look fat?" Or- "will you still love me when I am old and a prune has fewer wrinkles than me?" What are guys supposed to say? Wait! That would be what you want to hear. Could you be more specific and give us examples of what you want honest answers to?

how much do you appreciate a woman that cook's for you........especially from scratch? I just had a wonderful meal cooked for me last night! Appetizers of garlic stuffed olives, shrimp, warm brie and baguette, salad: with pecans, grilled asparagus and vinegrette an entree: chicken parmesan and homemade marinara on a bed of pasta, and dessert: Vanilla ice cream with blueberries, all served with a nice Zinfandel. I can't begin to tell you how nice that was! She is one hell of a woman! I met her here by the way. Net time I will cook for her. Already working on the menu but I want to surprise her with it. |

I love liberal propaganda. I don't call myself liberal so I guess you must be referring to other posters. A person doesn't have to call herself/himself anything when they are hugging the billboard of liberalism. Self explanatory. |

Be afraid of terrorists! ....as opposed to NOT being afraid... Be afraid of gay marriage!...why would we make legal a behavior that most sain people know...is NOT natural or normal...would we promote this behavior in our schools ?...it's about right and wrong...what they do in their bedroom is fine with me...but...to make legal a behavior we know in wrong...I say NOT !! Be afraid of godless liberals!...ALWAYS !!...and...FOREVER !!.. Hey, have you met Slowstumbler? I think that's the name. You guys should hook up for some "natural" behavior. Hey, just trying to help you true conservatives find true... uh, whatever it is you share together. To be fair- one person does not speak for all conservatives. Just as most liberals are as normal as the person next door, so too are most conservatives but it seems that the fringe element from both is represented on these threads and their hatred for anyone that does not walk lock-step with them can make it easier to lump all others with them. Just something to think about. |
