Yeah, Thump, don't do anything that will cause severe vibration or extreme motion to the shoulder. Just aggravates the heck out of it. Can you take antiinflammatories. Sounds like you may need surgery eventually to fix it.

well see,, after the steroids shot yesterday at the docs office, it felt somewhat better, after work today though,, it decided to say i hate you and now your going to feel what hell is. merry friggan christmas asshole!!! god my body loves me

I am surprised the doc didn't put your arm in a sling and tell you to take it easy after the shot. I have had 3 in each shoulder for bursitis, they help, but have to go easy on them for a couple days after the shots.
I am sure your football playing has beat up your poor body quite a bit. Feel better soon, take care. |

Doc should have told you not to do anything strenuous for a few days......you might have done more damage to it......
Take it easy and enjoy the painkillers.

ICE PACK...20 minutes...
HEATING PAD...20 mintues... Repeat, repeat, repeat....at least for 3-4 hours... THEN... Wrap TIGHTLY with an ace bandage and keep imbolized for at least 24-36 hours... And...ummm...do NOT do that again for at least two MONTHS...*moron* *giggles*!

Then I am a moron as well!  Don't have a torn rotator but was breaking up concrete with a jackhammer and tendonitis in my shoulder yesterday. I could hardly lift the toothbrush this morning. Wasn't it fun when the doc stuck the needle in and said "tell me when it hurts the worst"?  My steroid shot worked for three days.

i cant not work for 2 monthes,, i did that with my back surgery and i went nuts,, we dont want a crazier thumper,, that would be bad for all of us. as far as the other things, i put cold on it for a while, it made it hurt worse. kept me up half the night. so im going to see the doc again as soon as i get my check today. tell em fix it,,

aighty heres what the doc said. i am having neck spasms with my shoulder, they want me to schedule an mri to tell the extent of the damage, he said something about acute rotator cuff tear, so ill be doing that soon. thanks for the support yall
