It's a vile word in any usage but it is also a mixed signal to those around it. Why can others say it freely yet someone else cannot with out being called a racist? It is a shame that in 2010 we as Americans are still arguing about this.

Also dragoness I have yet to see a white man have power over a black man, therefore I find myself annoyed at that stereotype.

Bad ear bleeds: Anything Gaga related

Good Ear bleed: Voices by Disturbed. I have no idea why that one song does it to me everytime, but I get pumped up and want to rock out.

I didn't read the whole thread, because well I didn't feel like it. But as much as I don't care for ANY religion. This country was founded on Freedom of/from religion last I checked. I'm NOT sticking up for them, because if it were up to me I'd abolish all religion.

BUT then there would be PEACE!..we can't have that! We must keep sacrificing humans to please the gods...oh yea oh yea.

I'm buddist, so there are no supreme Gods, just ourselves. So no sacrifice needed :p

Also, this whole topic all over the news is stupid. What happened to freedom of religion? Or is it just "whatever we deem as religion"?

Nooooo! The metal owl was so awesome! Even though it didn't do anything in the first one. Then again, I have not watched the first one in years. I just remember the claymation Medusa scaring me as a kid.

I want to see it because I loved the original movie. I hope they didn't mess up Medusa or the Kraken.

The b/w race relation in the US still has a way to go on both sides.

I went to the creation museum because I was bored and its only an hour away. And I wanted to see dinosaurs damnit! Or Atleast Jesus riding a brontosaurus like a horse. No such luck on both fronts.

Seriously tho, why do people care what people believe happened before we were all born? Nobody living today was there with dinosaurs to say for a fact that humans existed with them. So who knows really?

I always loved the Inferno part of the Divine Comedy. So much more interesting than purgatory or heaven. Anyone who liked that story should try the books "Inferno" and "Escape from hell" by Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle. They are so much easier to read than the classic poem.

I do want to play the Xbox game but I won't pay 60 dollars for it. I would like to see how they designed the different levels of hell and see what Minos and Satan look like.

P.S. Ambuh can massacre me anyday ;)

I like everything I've heard from them thus far. I think the Twi-tards are killing their fan base though.

I have an extended family down there, and luckily most of major damage was 200 miles from them.

Buddy Guy would top my list. His shows are fun to hear and watch. Its hard to believe hes as old as he is because he acts like a kid on stage.

I'm surprised nobody said Chad Grey yet.

I say "Twilight" and not because I hate the twi-tards with a passion but because that movie was so boring. Not even the Riff Trax could save it for me.

I would rather watch "Manos" twice in a row than have to sit through Twilight again!

I love the original so I'm wondering what the new one will be like.

It was the only movie I would sit and watch the entire way through as a kid. I loved the Medusa fight, the metal owl, and the kraken! I don't care what anybody says, the clay-mation kraken is the best monster onscreen ever.

I saw it last Sat in 3D and thought it was great. The story line lacked alot and you could predict the story before it played out.

Pluto isn't a planet anymore, so it does not count. Oh wait its a dwarf planet? So its still a planet? But it does not count because its a dwarf!? Oh hell if I know.

Speaking of records! I still have my record collection started from when I was a kid and alot of them are from punk rock. So I found a Ramones CD on sale, one that I have on vinyl but never knew was in CD form. So I buy it and slap it into my car stereo.

And the CD sounds like crap! I like my record better rant

The older generation never likes the younger generation. Articles like this appear every 10 years or so.

I happen to be rather fond of this younger generation..I relate better with my son's friends than I do their parents.

I'm just the opposite. I find company of older people alot better. If I mention a record to anyone younger than 20 they just stare at me like I said a bad word.

"You know, those large vinyl discs that you listened to before CDs"
