Is anyone else looking forward to this flick as much as me?
I remember being a kid and just being enthralled by the first movie, which by todays standards is a little silly but still great... Can't wait. |

My only problem with this film is that I feel the effects will make up for a weak script. Still, loved the original, so can't wait to see this one.

Actually, just re-watched the old version tonight before work. Cheesy, and laughed my *** off at the special effects, and was a bit peeved at the butchering of a myth, but I am looking forward to seeing the updated version.

I love the original so I'm wondering what the new one will be like.
It was the only movie I would sit and watch the entire way through as a kid. I loved the Medusa fight, the metal owl, and the kraken! I don't care what anybody says, the clay-mation kraken is the best monster onscreen ever. |

I don't know, I liked the original a lot so I have a feeling I'm going to be disappointed since they usually screw things up when they do this. Crossing my fingers.....

I'm thinking that the new one is going to be really good and not cheesy like the original.. I did love the original though...

The reviews for it leave it very thin with regards to the original. More like Perseus helps protect Zeus from being overthrown by Hades.
Should be real interesting... |
