Starts tomorrow, and I am stoked to see this. Can't believe it took James Cameron 12 years to follow up Titanic, but perhaps the waiting was worth it. The previews look awesome, and it has that feel of an epic movie.

I can't wait to see this! The previews are amazing and the reviews have been stellar.
And to be honest I've got a wicked crush on Sam Worthington (he's just adorable, and on Jay Leno RIGHT NOW! ) |

Worthington does have "Superstar" written all over him. He was the only thing good about Terminator Salvation.

I disagree about that one. Anton Yelchin is brilliant and I can't wait to see where he goes.
Sam's so calm and normal. Just like a scruffy dude you'd meet hanging out with a beer and a couple buddies. I love how he just said he told James Cameron he'd come see him after he fixed the brakes on his car and moved his friends fridge and then he's like "Sht! Why did I do that?" Cameron is just a Canadian truck driver so he thought he respected his normalcy. I love that. |

Is it really that good? Seems to me I've got something to watch right before the holiday!

I went to see it last night at 3am. i loved it.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to see the movie in 3D due to my vision.
But...I'll be glad to see the 2D version when it hits DVD. |

yea a cookie cutter story line, but its worth every penny to watch it on the big screen. Cookie cutter is putting it mildly. Horrible casting and predictable storyline. Who cast this??? Giovanni Ribissi and Michelle Rodriguez?? Really? Who did they blow to get parts? Michelle is the same character she always is...an angry butch who tries to prove she is tougher than the whole male cast. Just another movie trying to prove what azzholes humans are and how we can't leave anything alone. Also, I didn't know Ripley was making a return??? Didn't she die in Aliens??? I was expecting Knute to show up! I give it a 5 for being visually stunning and 0 for storyline. |

This movie was awesome. Beautiful visuals, a cute story... I wasn't bored at all. I go for the whole experience and for those of you who say it sucks, I'd really hate to see what kind of things you think are awesome. lol
I saw the regular version. I wish they played that version on the IMAX screen. I'm not a fan of 3D but I just might do it for this one. |

by cookie cutter i mean some scenes where even stolen from last samurai with old tommy boy, a movie that had almost this much || originality. but samurai's have mystical powers over teenage boys, so i watched that movie like 4 times.

I found myself cheering for the humans to drop an A-bomb and just get it over with. ...so you can have the technology to charter a 6 year spaceship voyage but you can't invent anything better to shoot than a machinegun? Visually stunning, but the storyline was worse than a Disney movie. |

...so you can have the technology to charter a 6 year spaceship voyage but you can't invent anything better to shoot than a machinegun? lol that's what i thought, you'd think if you can remotely life link your self to a genetically modified alien, you can come up with glass to withstand arrows lol. |

Just saw this last night, it's awesome. James Cameron will definitely win an award for this movie. I saw it in 3D, but I should have seen it in 3D at the IMAX, oh well :/
