You can be walking down the street (or in a store), and men would approach and ask for your name and number. Or you're at the club and they offer to buy you a drink. Pretty much wherever you are, men shower you with attention, even if you just met. And after years of experiences like these, you've come to realize that you're attractive to men, and you know it. I have 3 questions about this: 1. Can you describe what's it like to be attractive to men? 2. How do you now expect the average man to behave when he notices you for the first time? 3. What do you think of men in general as it relates to them being attracted to you? Thanks. 1. I smile and nod. I don't don't read much into it. 2. I don't "expect" anything. 3. I would say they have good taste.. ![]() |

All we see is the scriptures thrown around here to justify judging another's action... LOVE, LOVE, LOVE...is all we were asked to do. We can't love each other while judging their lifestyle choices. The first of all the commandments is...thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these (Mk. 12:29-31). Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despite-fully use you, and persecute you (Mt. 5:44). He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat [food], let him do likewise (Lk. 3:11). Be ye...merciful as your Father also is merciful (Lk. 6:36). If he [your brother] trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him (Lk. 17:4). This is my [Jesus'] commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you (Jn. 15:12). Let love be without dissimulation [hypocrisy] (Rm. 12:9a). Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality (Rm. 12:10-13). Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not (Rm. 12:14). If thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head (Rm. 12:20). Salute [greet] one another with an holy kiss (Rm. 16:16a). Ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another (Gal. 5:13). Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted (Gal. 6:1). Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ (Gal. 6:2). As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith (Gal. 6:10). Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: and be ye kind one to another (Eph. 4:31-32). Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; and walk in love (Eph. 5:1-2a). Salute [greet] every saint in Christ Jesus (Php. 4:21a). Put on...bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity [love]...And let the peace of God rule in your hearts...and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another...And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him (Col. 3:12-17). Let brotherly love continue (Heb. 13:1). See that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently (1 Pet. 1:22b). Be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful [sympathetic], be courteous: not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing (1 Pet. 3:8-9). |

For what it is worth, I am not happy with the way that some churches approach the issue of homosexuality, because they offer no message of hope to people with homosexual feelings. My online book has chapter titled "Hard Questions About Christianity". Here is an excerpt from it: 7. Can a person be both a homosexual and a Christian?
Answer: Yes. According to the New Testament, a person has salvation if that person confesses that Jesus is LORD and believes that God the Father has raised Jesus from the dead. Nowhere does the New Testament say that a person has to be a heterosexual in order to obtain salvation. When Jesus died on the Cross, he paid for the sins of heterosexuals and homosexuals alike. Thus, God’s gift of eternal life is available to both heterosexuals and homosexuals. This is why I do not approve of what happened in that church incident mentioned in the OP. And this is why is WRONG to judge others...it's hurtful. Everyone who is saying the homo ain't gonna make to heaven needs to take a good look in the mirror.... if one were to go down the list of 'sins', they would also have one, at least. The bible constantly speaks of judging others...he who is without sin cast the first stone. If people are going to preach bible scriptures, then follow them all...therein lies the hypocrisy. |

The Empress was created with a painting by Vladimir Makovsky. It is a portrait of a real empress, Maria Fyodorovna. She was altered with a different background and made to be pregnant. ![]() "Empress Maria Fyodorovna" Gatchina Palace, by Artist Vladimir Makovsky A Russian painter, art collector, and teacher. 26 January (7 February) 1846, Moscow - 21 February 1920, I guess I can say I got her pregnant. ![]() ![]() ![]() Nice!! Yea, it's worse than we have ever been told... Our state (Oregon) is very concerned about it. We are expecting huge piles of debris to wash up on our coast and the Japanese tuna fishing industry is already contaminated. I wouldn't be eating any of the tuna from there... Yea, some expert said that radiation has been found in tree pollen on the west coast. Yea, I've heard that to. There was some wash up further north, in Canada. Japan is rocking every single day..they are ready to blow. |

You can disagree, spider. However, from what I've seen, children are taught to hate. Many learn it from their parents. not always, spider is right on this... while most hate is taught from their surroundings, some kids are just born with it. I reject your reality and accept my own. ![]() ![]() I just can't buy into anyone being born hateful.... infants, babies, children are the purest most innocent of our species. We destroy their trust and unconditional love by being lousy examples..teaching them to hate. |

I don't trust the government as far as I could throw any of the crook politicians.
I don't believe there will be a civil war. I think we all want the same things, we just have different views on how to get it. It's the media that is trying to divide us, divided we are easier to control... easier to get neighbors to rat on each other. When push comes to shove i believe people will stand together. i hope so.. United we stand, divided we fall!! |
