That is totally unnecessary. You can have bottles available anywhere anytime, even with mother's milk in them if you don't want to nurse in public. That is just being lazy if you don't. I think people should do what they are comfortable with. I personally would not want to do it in public with a bunch of men or women staring. But I would if it was necessary. Even if women pumped and put breast milk into bottles, aren't you supposed to keep them cold and heat them up at the time of feeding? That's what I've heard from my friends who are mothers. They've said that can be difficult if you're out in public. Pumping and storing milk in general is a pain, was for me. That's the beautiful thing about this....no money spent, no mixing with water. The baby is hungry, ya plug em in and feed them. It's a shame it has to be turned into a hassle, and embarrassing for women. It's really a very natural process. Ultimately it comes down to when life begins. The notion that a fetus is not human because it can't assert it's rights is ridiculous. A 1 year old cant assert it's right either. Women bear the responsibility of bearing children. Or you can see it as an amazing gift solely bestowed upon women. That's how I view it. And with this gift comes the responsibility. Maybe if the world viewed women and childbearing with the awe and respect they deserved, we could educate our daughters to prevent pregnancy in the first place without the stigma attached to obtaining birth control. That's the bottom line...at the end of the day the entire reverence of life and the bringer of life is perverted. As seen with the breastfeeding issue, an even in our own thread about it. The issues go way beyond the 'right' to an abortion, but that's a whole nother topic... |

Why then are cuts in Planned parenthood seemly alright with so many who are pro life? Abortion is a very small part of what PP does. The free birth control that was handed out prevented many of these unwanted babies. Then the suits in DC decide not to do that, then the uneducated get knocked up and seek an abortion. Education is the key and it is denied to way to many women ALL OVER the world. Birth control education should be taught FREE and offered FREE. Ya wanna prevent abortions..educate and prevent. I don't support Government funding for any organizations. The money that the Government spends came from and the taxpayers. No tax payer should have to support any program that violates their personal or religious beliefs. The problem won't go away if we are not willing or able to look past our personal beliefs. It's not about us...it's about the unborn child. I object to my taxes going to fund war.... One of the only valid functions of Government is to go to war. The Government has no valid function in murdering unborn children. Well..what I said is birth control and birth control education should be offered to ALL women and should be free. I said nothing of government murdering babies. Valid? Murdering those in foreign lands is valid? You care so much about the unborn, yet find the murder of other humans acceptable and valid? I guess I don't understand that. |

I'm strangely conflicted by all the brouhaha. First, I'm fascinated by that woman with twins, one on each boob. Wow. It's hard to take your eyes off her. Second, I'm disgusted that there is a such a thing as a breastfeeding awareness campaign. (If people are not aware of breast feeding by now, how stupid are they?) and personally, breast feeding is not something I would do in public. Not for any awareness campaign or to feed the brats. Conflicted. The campaign is in place because so many women won't feed their babies in public, or at all that way. The stigma of breastfeeding has embarrassed many women into NOT doing it. It's GOOD for the baby, it's the natural way and society has made it wrong. I feed ALL 3 of my sons whenever they were hungry. I covered myself up as best I could. Anyone who had a problem with it, it's their problem. I wasn't going to make my babies wait to eat because of someone else's issues. The brats need to eat. Most of the time breast feeding is healthy. Sometimes mama's milk is no good, and the kid can starve to death. It almost happened to my niece. The stupid doctors didn't have a clue. My Mother noticed it right away and told my sis to get that kid on some formula. I still don't think there should be any campaign for breast feeding awareness, and for the most part I don't think it is necessary to do it in public, but if it is, there should be a way to do it with a little modesty and class. There are rare times when mother has a problem with her milk... generally it's better for baby and the entire nursing process is also aiding in the mothers healing from pregnancy and birth. The uterus is contracting back "down" with the sucking. There is a reason we women are put together the way we are.. I know women who let their baby cry all the way home because they will not feed in public..that is just silly. As long as women feel this way, then the campaign is needed. I realize you have never nursed...it's a delicate process. The boob is so big it falls over the baby's nose..yes, being modest and classy factor in, I suppose. Ya can't just stick the baby on and wrap it all up in a blanket.. |

I know...some crazy stuff. I guess some would consider me new age, I reject labels. I guess some consider it the ultimate battle of good and evil. I see it as cosmic, everything is cosmic...EVERYTHING! Even the bible can be interpreted that way. The warnings are there, just not like so many think. Has NOTHING to do with what so many think the bible is. I do believe the reptilian elite are very aware, thus the plans in motion to control with force if necessary. |
