For days the snows been melting, trickeling away. Though much is still around, laying on the ground. I doubt much longer it can stay. For the first time this year, it began to rain. I stand outside in the showers, my thoughts adrift to you. Thoughts that once made me so happy, now only make me blue. I'm standing here... Cryin' in the rain. Memories of a letter, I once wrote to you. Telling you how much I loved the rain, you said you loved it too. Sat by my window watching, out the pane. You wished that you were next to me, sharing the view. Oh how much I had wished, for that too. It was around the time, I started falling for you. Now I stand here, alone with this view... Cryin' in the rain. Visions of shared hopes and dreams, you and me. Cuddlin' up close to watch the rain together, ou wee. Writting each other, what we would do. How I'd make love, and how you'd love me too. The lightning would sizzel and so would we. Drenched in our own rain, while it poured outside. You no longer, dream by my side... Cryin' in the rain. Passerby's observe me, they can't tell that I cry. My tears fall with the rain, and therefore they hide. Not a single person knows, what I'm feeling inside. Soaked to the bone, still I stand here alone. Can't bring myself to go inside, Is it foolish or just my pride. Now the rain is pouring down, hard enough- will I drown. Better to not hold inside... Cryin' in the rain. Will I ever learn to love the rain again. To jump in the puddles smiling, Dance around as I splash. Or will I always doomed to be, remembering you and me. Will I again sing and rejoice with the rain falling down. Or will I always wish you to be around. Glancing down to the soaking wet ground, nay do I utter a sound.
