I'm heading that way myself...
Thinking and planning... Have to either rent my place out or sell it and hit the road... Just not sure until my last two are out of high school - even though they have told me I should go for it... they are also rather hesistant about selling the place because it has been home for them since they were born... there are 3 "roads" on here named for each one of my kids... I am an x truck driver and spent 20+ years getting paid to be a tourist... only problem was that I never actually got to spend time touristing any areas I went! |

Since I'm not interested in meeting anyone my thoughts should probably be taken with a grain of salt. However, based on my many experiences meeting people via the internet I'd say it is not at all realistic. i'd have to agree with this... he lists himself as 6'+ tall and look at him... barely tall enough to get above the weeds...

Just got back from a test drive with the van.
Greased the whole front end and added grease to and adjusted the steering box. Removed the old radio that still had a cassette tape player in it, and was toast. Eliminated extra wires and taped and ziptied others so all of the wiring is now hidden from view. Seems to be a big improvement on the steering too!  Wishing it was Friday so the chiropractor would make me tall and pain free again!!! Enjoying the cloudy and cool weather - wishing it would rain! Although I did just clean my rims and put tire black on my tires so they look good again... I have everything just about ready so my son can drive this thing! He has been waiting for me to get it to where it was safe enough for a novice to handle! He's been driving his moms bigass ford van with power everything and it scares him to think about driving my van because it has way more power!!! If he puts his foot down like he does on his moms van, with this one he will be plowing into the vehicle in front of him!  Anyway, it's been a pretty good day for getting things done - other than the aspirin and pain I have to deal with...  that and the old out of focus eyes...  wish i had a back walker and  to be a  with now... so i'm feeling pretty damn good right now!!! |

there is some outfit advertising on the tv about the coming mega nino and how we better fix our roofs!!!
i already know i have to, it leaks because i haven't gotten up and spread out another layer of roof coat... stuff went from 35 for 5 gallons to about 75 each and i need two of them to get my roof done... hoping the rains hold off until next month because of that! thankfully i drink a lot of coffee and have plenty of folgers cans to put under all the drips!
