Topic: All the real people are fake | |
---|---|
It kind of feels like that sometimes. Nobody at all that seems like a real or interesting person and then one comes along and just when you think you've clicked it's "user deactivated" and you're left thinking that that was all bollocks then and not a genuine person interested in you. You think that there's nobody real on this internet and you're being taken in by them because they seem like a real person at last and not just some sad case that resorted to trying to meet somebody this way like yourself.
How realistic do you think that it is that you could meet the type of person that you would really like to meet on the internet? |

How realistic do you think that it is that you could meet the type of person that you would really like to meet on the internet? i think it can just as likely as in real life, but the internet makes it a bit harder... i really don't try to meet anyone off the net, doesn't seem worth it to me... seems that most like to fib about themselves, something that i just cannot deal with |

Somewhere out there is a guy dreaming about meeting someone just like you... Might even be the one helping you up after that lightening. You just never know till it happens. |

I've seen your posts before when I first started and have seen some of your posts lately, though I don't comment on all of them. mostly because I feel out of my depth. based on your recent posts with all due respect, I kind of feel like you have been reevaluating things in your life. there seems to be a little something that's different. what you find online or in the real world depends on what you put out there. there are real people, both men and women. it takes time to find that hidden treasure. there are also scammers and people who are confused about what they want. it takes time and sifting through the incompatible ones to find what you seek. good luck |

How realistic do you think that it is that you could meet the type of person that you would really like to meet on the internet? I think people deactivate for different reasons, for example if I get a really busy project at work I will occasionally deactivate temporarily just so I can focus and not be tempted to come on here. I do try to let give those people im regularly talking to a heads up but I don't always get a chance. the other reason is maybe they are talking to someone in real life as well and it progresses sure it may have 'seemed' like you had a thing, but maybe logistically it would have been more difficult, and required tremendous effort. their feelings may have been there, but sometimes life throws things at us that we may not be expecting. My point is they may have been real, but perhaps life got in the way, they don't (and shouldn't) owe any person in the net an explanation for living their life the way they want |
