"Who is Running the Majority of Our Government and what are their
Nationality, Banks are owned by WHO?, Jewelry Shops are Owned by Who?"

<continuing in the same mindset>
Did you know the World Jew-er-ry council didn't pay bobby fisher for the
movie "searching for bobby fisher" or the game "bobby fisher teaches
chess"... they also had him kicked out of his apartment!
</continuing in the same mindset>

Welcome to the wonderful world of anti-world-jew.er.ry-council paranoia.

"If at this moment there was a big retaliation and United States Got
attacked who going to defend the Country. " retaliation? for what? from
who?

Some people fight for freedom in a way that doesn't kill people. Not to
say their isn't a time and place for defending one's self via war.

How many baptists does it take to screw in a light bulb?

...

16... 3 committees of 5 to approve it and 1 to actual do it.

"I never believed in predestiny before but a membership class talked
about it and proved it w/ the verses:"

predestination on the fact that God for-knew all things and allowed them
to occur is a fact.

That God forced some things to occur isn't a fact. Sometimes he
intercedes for his greatest Glory *see the death of Jesus being allowed
to happen* But this doesn't for-go the free-will of man. God gets what
he wants done and is infinitely resourceful. Our submission to him is
simply a choice to get the honor and privilege of seeing Him work
through us.

Isn't focusing on hedonism empty and eventually unfulfilling?

I'm a fundamentalist Christan. I know God created the heavens and the
earth exactly as it says in genesis. I know as a fact that the word
"day" doesn't mean a 24 hour period *see work-day, a period of work* and
that morning and evening mean "beaning and end" of a day... particularly
during that first biblical day... before the SUN! I know salvation is by
grace through faith in Christ and not by our own works, so that we can't
say "hey look at what I did", so that we can do the good-work of loving
God and each other that God put there for us to do at the formation of
the earth.

http://shrimprg.stanford.edu/page2frame.html

this is proof that the earth is at least 300million years old. These
crystals form out of uranium then deplete. Given the amount of depletion
sense the formation of this crystal and the rate at which it
half-life(s) it's a simple fact that this crystal is over 300million
years old.

congregationalist church's have little benefit to be seen either from
over-demanding tribute from themselves or overly enriching those who
oversee the church.

^Very true^

You're probably much more well versed on our history than most people
are. Most people ask "what's the most important thing to me, who's going
to make sure that's taken care of", no thought to the wider-applications
or complications caused by that.

Ah... i suppose that's why i don't like the government having much
power. As long as the people have ready access to truth then the
government can remain afraid of the people... instead of the people
being afraid of the government.

did you know that you could buy your way out of the draft during the
civil war? I'm glad we've advanced past the idea of simply letting rich
people buy their way out of their patriotic duty.

Maybe 2 years of mandatory service, to the government, say from the ages
of 19 to 21, would give us all a little better perspective on what and
how we use our resources in government.

He's playing politics. He didn't play last time and he got
charicter-assassinated by bush. The informed may know he's gone a little
week but i like to think he's still got the same good heart I thought
should win in 2000.

Says he's going to close down getmo, if elected.

The poor fight our wars because, in a pay-incentive army, only the
impoverished and few well-indoctrinated-patriots will put their lives on
the line to accomplish the goals of the nation.

You can be poor and still be for the rich. Our history of puritanism
associates wealth with morality. You and i know this isn't true, as per
the teachings of Christ, but it's a cultural tradition that makes sense
to me.

I'm against killing people, I take a balance of how many dead on one
hand and how many dead on the other and vote for the fewest dead people.

Ah, i think that may be the crux of our philosophical disagreement.

I'm afraid that if the parties stopped being at each others necks then
they might actually get something done!

I remember the last time we where 'unified'... a law was passed, nearly
unanimously, that said they could data-mine the books i check out from
the library to see if i was a malcontent.

Machiavellian at best Orwellian at worst.

... or maybe just a good statistician working the system the way it's
meant to be worked... does that make him a crook... only the the nth
most degree one can be a crook by simply being a politician.

Hum.. Your right that's steeping way out of the bounds of the rights of
the executive branch. Watching the judiciaries practices should rest
entirely on the legislative branch.

How do we keep the incoming democratic house/senate/?executive? in
check? It seems to me government functions better with the legislative
split against the executive.

I've seen him make reference to complex economic theories... he's
usually lambasted by the media for this because he has a hard time
articulating them.

example "more and more of our imports are coming from other countries",
he was referring to our tendency tward import things that aren't made
nationally *by American companies*. Showing some understanding of GDP vs
GNP.

That said, MBAs tend to be the people that made Cs in high school and
collage, business administration isn't usually thought of as a
thinking-man's sport.

Though i must agree, the economic philosophy by which the government is
now being run has little to do with any respectable economic theory or
philosophy.

respect for doing what you believed to be the right thing at all turns.
