I went out with a guy who looked hot as hell in his pic. Turned out he had airbrushed the hell out of it. Over dinner he told me a woman had actually left him stranded in a restaurant because he looked nothing like his pics. Would I have gone out with him if I had known what he really looked like? Probably not. But I still think it's stupid to lie, people have eyes, they will find out.

but my question was the reverse.

suppose his picture was unflattering, or suppose he had taken the picture months ago and in the interim worked his *** off in a gym...

would the "lying" bother you then?
if his photo was unflattering you probaly wouldn't have went to meet him in the first place.

i've seen people complain about meeting someone on a dating site such as this one alleges to be, and then on seeing them in person, they look nothing like their pictures. with such indignation, these people say that it's not about their looks but the fact that they were being dishonest by displaying a picture that isn't up-to-date etc.

so i was wondering...

would that same attitude be prevail if the person turned out to look better than their pictures? huh

hey im a 100% honest, im an ugly bugger. my photo is me!!!

and for all the people from the uk in here, shame on you. do any of you remember the name gerry conlon??? vilified in the british press as an animal, mass murderer, irish monster etc etc. and we all believed the storys we read. how many years did he spend in our prisons before it was proved beyond doubt he was innocent? he was found guilty only because he was an irishman in the wrong place at the wrong time.
ah, thats british 'justice for you'!!!

how anyone can possibly believe that abdelbaset ali mohmed al-megrahi is guilty of the lockerbie 'disaster'.
the evidence against him was flawed right from the start. all the so called experts in here giving there 2cents worth dont have a clue what they are speaking about. i was 16 when i lost my mother in 1988 on pan-am flight 103. al-megrahi was used as a scapegoat by both the british and libyan governmets.

I don't think anyone here claims to be an expert. I doubt any of us has seen the evidence. But I can still have an opinion based on the information I do have. 'Daffy' (I don't think there is a correct spelling) admitted his country's involvement and the information I have seen implicates him. Wouldn't surprise me at all if the guy in prison is a 'fall guy'. Happens all the time. But I do think we were justified in giving him something to worry about. It appears to have worked.
i have no doubts what-so-ever that colonel gadaffi and his fellow idiots were responsible for the lockerbie masacre, but to blame all of what happened on to one man is totally ridiculous.

"Your talking through a hole in your a**e"!!!

Why is it so hard for people to let things go ,leave what happened in the past in the past.
Especially if you still want to be with the person who wronged you & "they" the person who hurt you
are trying really hard to make things right.
Why can't we forgive without torture? Why does an indescretion in a relationship make people so bitter &
hard to please, angry and untrusting;why is that?
If people could just let things go and live productive lives that leave them sound, happy and and not mentally
frustrated and crazy or have tons of baggage, and no one wants to be bothered with that person, right?
Why do those same unhappy people who know what their problem is complain when they can't have or maintain
A healthy relation ship?
I don't get it.:(

Sorry about type errors

the person who has wronged shouldnt have wronged in the first place.
