As a U.S.Navy Vietnam Veteran and true AMERICAN, I believe absolutely NOTHING that is on the TV news or the newspapers.  There was a time when I was very PROUD of being an American but in just a few short months it has become an embarrasment and not just to me, but to millions of Americans.    |

I see no colour when it comes to people, as for race............... Well, yesterday I watched 1.Tour de France 2009 2.Formula 1 race  I don't understand when some people speak of different races We are All of the amazingly brilliant & multifaceted Human Race with a myriad of colorful & diverse cultures ideas & exposures     |

I specifically directed this to the Vets
 and also to our Active and Reserve Troops cause i really didn't want any one else's take on my question  ... I hear comments from civilians & people in the media all the time ..  i hardly ever hear what the people  "who are actually behind the scenes " really have to say about anything  those men & women who are there day & night .. those who are in the thick of it all " They" are the people whom i admire & respect far above All & it is Their word that means something to me Of Course i have great Respect for Our Policemen & Firemen & Paramedics too by all means & their opinions matter a lot to me too    |

Put the criticle eye on the news... Ratings pay their salary as do commercials. When you see 'commercials' that are about a current national or world situation... See them for what they are. A deliberate attempt to sway public opinion... Cause WE are the ACTUAL defenders of the constitution and they know it. During the early stages of the 'bailouts' I actually saw congress persons showing fear at the public response. Hi there Adventure Begins Thanks so much for coming by and for saying the things you did ...I really really appreciate that /// Cause my hope is to be able to really see things better through the eyes of a person who has been in the Service & has been exposed to the way things are in the Military & what it takes to keep war at bay and do what they can to insure that wars stay on foreign shores & a chance to view a little bit of life with new eyes from a completely different much more realistic perspective much clearer than most civilians have /// and basically that is all i need to know I get weary listening to the endless news & talk show channels & everybody's take on everything  I have soo many Other other things that i want & need to to do Certain things are obvious to me & there's N need to keep rehashing it   |

What different races and nationalities of people have you had the pleasure of being around throughout your life? Note that i said 'pleasure'. This is not a thread to moan about or attack anyone. This is a thread to help eachother understand more about people with different cultures. It can be a touchy subject, so lets just keep it positive. What are some good things you have learnt about(or from) these groups of people? I live in a melting pot Honey you name it, we have it or we did have it & one thing i learned and continually learn is that we all are so much the same under all the outward stuff and smiles are the universal language  |

Being in a war is different things for different people. Some see it one way others see it another. Don't believe everything the media tells ya, don't believe everything the generals tell ya. Read all you can and form your own opinion. Ohh thank you soo much Dear Man for stopping by i need to constantly remember that not all those who are in the Military & not all who were in the Military are truthful or have the same code of ethics but for the most part i feel that i can trust the majority of Military Men & Women & the kind & wise messages you leave are engraved deeply upon my heart & i will hold them near & very dear to my heart to serve as a compass & a gauge for truth always |

I gave up TV and newspapers months ago. It feels great. I learn daily more than I ever could have by some talking head on TV. Or Propaganda by politically biased news print. Am Talk radio sometimes. No more cell phone either..that feels friggin great. Freedom I use the Internet as I choose...that is why I still have it. I do my own research. I have never owned a cell phone although on rare occasion one would come in handy & I have not had a TV for much of my life it is so corrupt & filthy & sooo demonic   from much of the sick programming to the sick commercials  & I feel that it is like big brother in that book 1984 keeping tabs on us & trying to make us all conform they want us all to grow like boxwood hedges you can't grow too tall or too full no we must not have that because then they wouldn't know what to do with us so they want us young & old to be on their antidepressants or whatever they have on the market now to suppress us but i refuse to give in to that mentality they don't want us to grow any taller or any fuller than they can control and woe to the people who have the intestinal fortitude to be original & stand alone & break away from their mold |
