But ya dude, like it or not, if women aren't attracted to you, it taint happenin'. That's why it's important to date within your league. Me? Lets face it... I'm in the majors. All the fine ladies want a piece. But if you only have minor league talent, don't aspire to the majors. Dig? Ugly people deserve love too..

Christmas is exactly what you make it.
It is a Christian Holiday meant to celebrate the birth of Christ.
Or, for non-believers/atheists it is a time to get together and celebrate the spirit of giving.
Don't use the lame excuse that it's too commercial. If you think it's too commercial and can't possibly tolerate it, don't celebrate it! No one is forced to observe Christmas or any other holiday for that matter.
Hell, I just might celebrate Kwanza this year... You know why? Because I damn well feel like it.

First Christmas as a divorced man... thought it was going to suck, but you know what? I went in with a positive attitude and it was terrific.
Had a ball watching my kids tear open about 100 presents. It's my new tradition... Christmas Eve IS my Christmas with my children. Then I went out and had a couple of cold ones.
Tomorrow? Mass, and a date with the couch.

Not trying to be a ****, but as a musician myself, just felt Nirvana was way over-rated-- I think Kurt felt that way himself...

I loved "Never Mind" just as much as anybody else, but the nonsense of Kurt Cobain being some kind of messiah is absolutley absurd. Nirvana was a decent punk rock band that hit at the right time with the right kind of publicity/promotion. "Nevermind" is, at best, a very good punk rock album.
If Kurt Cobain were alive today, he would be embarrassed by the ammount of ass kissing that has gone on pertaining to his work.
I think that had a lot to do with him taking the cowards way out and shooting himself, leaving a wife and child behind to fend for themselves.
Nirvana was great, but they're not even in the discussion.

I think there is scientific evidence somewhere that states that long distance relationships DO NOT WORK...
Personally, I think if you have to go across four states to find someone, you're not looking hard enough where you're at...

It's not that I feel sorry for myself, in fact compared to many of the horror stories I've heard from women I've dated, I'm handling it quite well (No phone tapping, following her around and harrassing her, ect.) But give me a little bit of a break... it's only been a year! They say it takes, on average about two years. I'll be fine, and thanks for everybodys advice...

I've been doing this for about nine months, and I can definetley relate. I'm about one for twenty too. The only thing that bothers me is that it just seems rude to not respond at all. I personally respond to everybody. Not everyone feels that way.
Just approach it as your odds being one in twenty, and don't check the sites every twenty minutes the way I did when I was newly single and desperate.

This Christmas is going to be my first one alone. My ex left soon before Christmas last year, but I think I was still in shock and didn't really care last year.
This one is gonna hurt... I have my kids Christmas Eve, then drop them at mommies around 9:00 p.m.
It's been a ***** of a year. I'm slowly getting over her... only petty jealousy and some anger remain.
What do I do Christmas Day? I'm invited to my brother's girlfriends house, but the thought of hanging around with people I don't know doesn't seem like a good idea. I don't think I'm going to be in the mood for that.
This is pretty much going to be the new routine because my ex got pregnant, and I'm not going to take them away from their soon-to-be new brother every year...
