without quoting scripture or the bible, ++ I am serious>, ty ted

Im sorry, but youll have to do the work like the rest of us have.

How bout this one?... Nothing in life is free.

awesome answer,,,God is wondrous!

Msharmony...if you think it's wondrous that nothing in life is "Free" ..that would mean that you agree that there is no "Free Will"

Where did I post "it's wondrous that nothing in life is "Free""?

Your interpretations are in no way involved in my belief that God is wondrous.

Msharmony.....now now...you said awesome answer...the answer was not "god is wondrous"...the answer was nothing in life is "Free" ..

Msharmony...it still equates to the same thing ...that nothing in life is "Free" to you was an awesome answer ....and of course that includes "Free Will" not being "Free"

Free will Was not free, but now it is, because Christ died for our sin. Anything is possible through Christ but it is pointless to try to build an understanding or relationship with him through others, it is necessary for one to seek him themself. THAT is why I believe her answer was awesome.

Msharmony...you are contradicting yourself ....if "Free Will" was not always "Free".... then it's not "Free Will"

..Is there a god, does god exist..whether he does or not the concept is nothing less than genius..a great source of comfort to those in time of need,lonliness,sorrow..the reason for turning one's life around..the father of all fathers..yes the concept if it were nothing else is genius
..but yet faith based,an emotion, one that requires no physical proof, the debate between nations as to what to believe, the debate within ourselves will go on through eternity, but with modern technology one could GOOGLE it..lol
...but my stance on this would be..with all the crap we have flying around in space ..they should pin point the ark and dig it up ..and then to some maybe that will be the proof they need..but for others no proof is required..and that's a FACT...smokin

Silly, smoking pot was not always illegal but now it is. Consequences can change. We are permitted to decide for ourselves our actions and words, but not without consequence. The consequences are less harsh because of Jesus sacrifice. I dont translate free in the term free will to mean 'without consequence or reaction'.

Msharmony.. you are trying to associate "Free Will" with Jesus...but of course "Free Will" had to have started with Adam and Eve before the time of Jesus....so can you explain when and how "Free Will" was not "Free"

No, I dont wish to go in circles with you about interpreting the phrase free will. I know that I am thankful to be able to EXPERIENCE life, that is to have the concscience to make my own decisions as opposed to having them pre programmed,, so to speak. There is the chance I will sin but that makes my acceptance of the Lord that much more meaningful. My love of God is not an ARRANGED love that I have no choice in, it is up to me to decide my relationship and for that freedom of choice,, I am grateful.

Msharmony.......if was you that stated that "Free Will" was not always "Free" ...I just asked you since it was supposedly "Free" at the time of Adam and Eve then what other point in time could it have not been "Free" ....of course there were no logical way you could have answered that question but it would have been entertaining watching you try

they know...people wish to believe that making a decision is "Free Will" and that it is a special gift from God that rise them above everything else... when the reality is that even a cotton mouth water moccasin can make a decision

before God breathed life into us,, before the creation of human there was no FREE will, things existed strictly as Gods creations. I am glad to be so entertaining to you, but my faith is not a matter of entertainment to me. This is the shortest simplest explanation I can give you, but being that you are obviously as determined not to believe as I am to have faith, I see no point in answering the questions about free will just for your entertainment.

For those who are interested in understanding and not belittling,, my answer stands that I am grateful that I can experience life with the knowledge of God and a relationship with Him that supercedes an animal or insect with only the Instinct to survive. My free will lets me experience more than just a life of survival but one of ups and downs and valuable lessons which make me human.

Msharmony..wouldn't "Free Will" means that it's the individual that ultimately chooses what is right or wrong...so can you explain why this doesn't apply to animals

Msharmony...wrong ..because didn't God have "Free Will"...and then he gave Adam and Eve Free Wll

sure it does. You have the free will to either believe and follow as we're suppose to and have many blessings in life. Or choose not to and have many hardship and troubles in life. But you still have the free will to do either one, just you have to live with the consenquences of either one.

no "free will" does not meen that. Free will makes it to where we're not just a bunch of robots. We can walk to the store if we wish, we can eat when we feel like it and many other things. We are not like a childs action figures where he makes them do what he wants literally.

very good funches, lets have a round of applause for him :). It is very simple to follow the bible. People with pride make it hard on themselves.
