If you really read what I said I did sat that you have a 20% chance of getting it even without smoking I read that. But to me, if Im gonna get lung cancer, since it runs in my family, I might as well speed up the process. |

Why is it that people look down on people who smoke? It used to be the "hip" thing to do. Sometimes I feel like I'm an alien with looks I get when I smoke in public. I am an ex smoker and I agree.. smokers are treated like 3rd class citizens. BUT cig smoke stinks...plain and simple... I hate it. And you cant keep the smoke to yourself unless you are one of those the that smoke just clings too and than you share it all day. I work in an office and I know when a smoker walks by my cubicle. And kissing a smoker is like kissing an ashtray.. sorry but you asked |

Because people who smoke have given themselves a bad reputation but not having consideration for the rest of the world. That's why the govt has laws on smoking. Give you an example: Driving down the highway...smoking in your car....when you are done smoking, the cigarette is then flung out the window.... Just where exactly do you think the cigarette butt is going? Will it magically vanish into thin air? NO! It will hit the car behind you. That kind of rudeness is what makes people angry about smoking and smokers. That's because the f'in commies took away every other place to smoke, so we have to smoke in our car and our butts smashing into other cars is our discontent with stupid laws. Wrong answer. That is a convenient excuse my friend. Smokers did this LONG before the laws were created and long before our rights to smoke wherever we chose. |

maybea a lot of ex smokers would went through hell to quit and being around someone who who smokes effects them a lot Want some whine with that cheese?  yes I would, it would get rid of my hang over, and I haven't eaten yet today...

I spent 20 years working in a lab looking at people from the inside out if you only knew the effects smoking has on your body you would never do it! without smoking you have a 20%chance of getting lung cancer and other related diseases with smoking you have an 80% put the 2 together and it is pretty mauch a done deal Tell me the statistics on over-eating, if you can. Those I would be curious to know as long as we're on disturbing health risks here. |

As A former smoker I can relate. I used to get the those looks like I was BIG BUISNESS OIL polluting the earth.

Well not all cancers run in the family , it might be beacause there are a lot of smokers . I personally believe that some people are more prone to it than others. But please don,t think you are doomed just because other members have it.

I started smoking in 6th grade..ya me...lol and now I'm 40 and still smoking but I figure this way we are all going to die one day so enjoy what you like to do. They make a big deal that smoking gives you cancer well I could tell you about other things that could give you cancer too!!! 1. exposure to to much sun/tanning beds 2. pesticides they use to kill bugs off on fresh veggies and fruits you buy in the grocery store. 3. go outside and breath in the city air...all the smog and chemicals floating from factories etc. These are a few examples.

I don't really care who smokes...their decision to make. I don't want to date a smoker though...I like fresh kisses to be made readily available. Nothing kills the mood faster than asking someone to rinse and spit! Hehehehe If I liked the taste...maybe I'd smoke too...who knows.

I didn't say I agree and I don't know how your trash relates to pelting a perfect stranger with your cigarette butt ? Like I said...I choose to smoke...but I also choose to be respectful to others. If you choose not to be respectful...own that decision too. |

I used to look down on people that smoked because I just didn't understand why they needed to. When I heard stress as an answer, I thought of people as weak willed if they couldn't handle stress. But...then I started smoking 2 months ago, lol. For those who don't smoke, it's really nothing special. Except the light headed feeling you get, but really, you can get that affect by holding your breath. Anyway, back to the point, I still don't understand why some people smoke, but I'd be a hypocrit to look down on them now since I do it too. |

I use to smoke and it was my choice to quit. But i dont look down on ppl who smoke cuz that would make me a huge hypocrite.
