((( Kate ))))

Dust Bunnies Or Killers to some
Come in lots of colors
Shapes & Sizes
I've been told they Multiply by thousands
Under the Carpet Under the Couch
Static Electricty Now say Ouchhhhhhhh
They Guard thier Domain
Protect and Serve
Humans worst enemy
Foe of the Unknown
They need no water
No Food for thought
Darkness awakes them
Thier work never done..
So out comes the DustBuster
A brave Human he thought
I'll suck the whole lot
HaHaHa they laugh
For you shall not win
You See silly human
KillerBustBunnies are we
We stand tall and proud
Never Retreat
Onward we March
KillerDustBunnies Unite
Silly Humans are Plight....devil mad explode

Glad you liked the twist in the tail of a poem.

HAHAHAHA! Oh my gawd... I watched "The Big Comfy Couch" when I was home sick one day, and from that day on, my friend and I decided we were the dust bunny brigade! Oh man...

One day on a couch,
filled with laughter,
unknowing what dwelled beneath...
Such a plentiful army,
With one great leader, who,
to his people did bequeath,
Knowledge of all
the safest nooks and crannies
and places to hide beneath.
They amassed neath the chair,
in a forgotten lair,
they amassed neath the fridge
and wished they could move it a squidge,
they ammassed under the bed,
where the great battle was led!
I sneeze again, and away they do scurry,
They espy a vaccuum and leave in a hurry!
They fight with a mini-might,
For allergies are my kryptonite!

Also, since the last thread like this got deleted before I got this kind of poem

CHALLENGE: A made up word poem a la "Jabberwocky" by Lewis Carol. Ubtruckular, Votundus, or Twirnambin are all examples of made up words you could use. I think. At least... I don't think they're real words.

In response to the word Ubtruckula........

They told me this word would grab you by the jugular
It sure takes away from your vernacular
I just cannot get my head around it
It has no meaning,no rhyme nor script
Just a made up word to add confusion
I'm sure someone, someday will come up with a solution
Until then this word will swirl around in your head
And upon a grave stone it will be read
"Here lies the author of the word Ubtruckula
A hell of a woman, pity she left early, she was so jocular !

I'm pleased to announce that CrazyPalindrome will now accept requests via email.

I'm still going to be out for a few, I know I owe a few of you poems, I just have some issues to attend to right now.

The Ventripid Urbigs were wanly wallowing
as the yepish teggle I was following.
It trunged serenly upon wessle grasses,
but twitched its nose at the scent of molasses.
It gaffortled my way at a gundgulous pace,
And a Clamortalus look came over my face.
I dove to the side, in a rhub-ghub shrub,
And the teggle did pause as its withers did flub.
I held out gingerly a ventubular dish
and it snardoogled it all with great relish.
I slipped a small rope around it's great neck,
and it reared back sounding a massive kekkekk!
I held on tightly as it swung me around,
and with greater volume was the kekkekk sound!
A great HERD of teggles came gaffortling through,
and I was left blaffed, and knew not what to do!
I let go of the rope, and ran straight into a branch,
and I dribly unsettled a kentacticus cranch.
The teggles gafummbled, and then they guffeyed
And finally at last they garumphulled away.
Someday I'll catch one, that Rabtaculous beast,
But I'll settle for my dignety, for now at least.

Plastic Army Men with Souls...
***********************************

We are green and plastic.

Come in a large plastic bag.

Toys to boys and girls we are had.

We carry guns, knives, swords, and gernades.

Children staging a waring play.

We kill, we mame, we fight, we die.

Some of us are broken and trying to understand why?

Why do parents, friends, and relatives buy?

If we could speak- we'd tell you this...

War is not a game.

Teaching the children to play this game.

What!!! Are you all insane?

We would rather not yeild these weapons.

Nor would we teach the children these lessons.

If we could just pick our lives to play-

We'd surely pick a more peaceful way!!!

Because I love aliteration, try and use this sentance as inspiration... or use your own aliteration style... ahem... "The Tepid Tyrannosaurus tried to take the tastey tidbit from the tray!"

btw... mine are mostly suggestions, in case you're lacking inspriation for the moment... feel free to ignore them completely if you wish, I'm just being nuts.

God's Butterfly

Encased in a crystal case
the warmth of love doth embrace
Renewing my mind
Healing my heart
Awaiting a brand new start
The past is behind me
A brand new life in front of me
Love encompasses my heart
Stripping me of all pain
To fill me with the newness of His Joy
Molding me into a new creature
Encased in a crystal case
The warmth of Love doth embrace
Now is the time,
the rebirth of the new me
I struggle to break free
the walls are so strong
But I must try
So that I can learn to fly
Basking in the warmth of Love's embrace
I am FREE, to be me
I spread my wings
A rainbow of colours, A gentle kiss
His breath doth bring forth LIFE
I Fly

Sorry for such a long delay, I hope you enjoy Vicki flowerforyou

Friendship that feels like Family

Strangers from all the country, all the entire planet

Collaborate together with their favorite interests and love

Some are gentle and fragile, some hard as steel or granite

In some mysterious way, regardless, we’re all able to bond

For some, the bond is stronger than the strongest steel

For others, it is in a dimension that we can’t quite grasp, far beyond

And we develop a love among us, from the most serious to the most silly

We come together in spite of our differences, and forge from our friendship, a Family
