I buy generic food and I shop for clothes at thrift shops, well I only buy new clothes every four or five years, so I really don't care about fashion or style...

um, i gotta have my levis. however, i try to stock up when they are on clearance...

as for other things, it depends on what it is. for corn and green beans, i'll go generic. for peas, i have to have leseur.

Depends on the item. I'll get generic pain relievers (like Wal-Mart's "Equate" stuff) instead of Tylenol and save a little money. But I've never found a generic Brown Sugar-Cinnamon Pop-Tart that didn't taste like floor wax, so I have to go with the Kellogg's in that case.

I am njot opposed to generic if it is less expensive. I will try it and if it is any good will purchase again.

It was like they had a bunch of dogs walk over them before they ever got in the package. And I don't think what I was tasting was any kind of brown sugar or cinnamon that anybody else would recognize, either.

I'm a label whor*..I like certain products name brand like Downy, tide, beauty products and hair care etc...I will try the store brand and if I like it I will buy it again if not I feed it to the dog J/K...And I must have Purity milk, it's a must no other milk will do...

I'll get name brand at the grocery store IF I GET DOUBLE OR TRIPLE COUPONS, or if I already know the name brand is better than generic. As for clothes/accessories, that designer stuff only makes designers richer so they can buy expensive clothes/accessories!!!

Brand name for clothes, shoes, accessories, electronics and grocery. I just believe that you get what you pay for usually.
I dont have to return something if the product is quality. I prefer quality over quanity. If I spent $130 or more on shoes they will last far longer and not make your feet tired after a long day. So some things I would spend more money for the end result. I cannot think of anything generic that I own.

I've never concerned myself so much with name brand clothing, usually any obnoxious t-shirt and some levis* will do fine. I have nice sweaters and shirts, but I buy them because I like them, not for a name. Now my Chuck Ts' an the other hand........
I'll buy generic dish detergents, cereals, bleach, asprins, nuts & natural snacks, even store brand bread occassionaly, but on some things, there is very little room for compromise.......

Peanut butter..... ....generic just tastes like A$$.....
Coffee......Folgers or Green Mtn, please!
Pasta sauces.......prefer to make my own
Mac & Cheese.....if I gotta eat it, I buy Kraft
Dogs and such......Sabretts, Hebrew National,...not Corn King!
Vegetables...fresh, or at the vey least, Green Giant

Do u notice that coupons are readily available like they used to be. Heck i remember on sunday the paper would be full of them and on tues now they are no where, why is that?
